So glad that they are taking your complaint seriously as after all it is a make/break document in the court.

Well done on complaining about the CAFCASS report, hopefully that along with the way your ex has been mucking people around will bring an end to the hassles you have been having

Spoke to the grandparents 2ngt, and theyve heard nothing from the son for over a week, they had the bust up last week on phone, but sure he'll be ringing soon as he's bound to want money!

Talking about money, a bolt out of the blue, my csa claim (bear in mind this was in 2002), has now been transferred to the new system and he has to pay £6.80 per week, my 1st reaction was pigs will fly before he hands over money, but no... its being taken directly from his benefits and put into my account, so have arranged for it to go in spare one, don't want the money as it feels like blood money, but its what DD is entitled to, and even if it gets saved till shes 18, its all for her, I'm sure that will go down like a lead ballon.

Forgot to say my furniture came today from argos, luckly they sent the right set, but looked online and they've put it back up to £399.99 - so me thinks got good bargain.

Had the stairlift fixed today, its only 12 months old, but we've had the firm out 6 times, and no they've replaced the whole main unit, so touch wood no incidents. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

  • Glad to hear the CSA are doing something about it. Like you say even if you just put the cash away for her when she is grown up, it might go towards a car or lessons or something :T

Quiet here, just been out to see the moon - but it to cloudy thou got some lovely pics of the red sky.

Dad has put up the rest of DD furniture, looks lovely, so the weekend is get the stuff back into her bedroom, sure it be another sort out!

Did a good turn for dad yesterday, sorted out his car insurance, just can't believe how much premiums have shot up, he's now insured with Marks and Spencers - he finds quite funny - mum piped up they sell underwear don't they!! Yes and about everything else.

Got appointment with chirpoodist 2mor, poor woman she has to have my feet!!

Wrote to the solicitor with the cafcass reply, - it was 50/50, but at least they have to do an amendment for the court, favourable to me, and they have to apologise, too late now the damage been done, but its gone to that persons boss, so at least being taken seriously, the next step is to see if this wonderful lifebook materalises!!

Never a truer word said, he has to do this life book by 20th June, then DD has to be introduced to the lifebook by the cafcass officer, I'm not allowed to see it before hand, then there do a report based on that interview, then we (or should I say I) turn up again at court 14th July, its past a joke.

Doesn't help matters, found out today that someone we know, they've told us that theyve been told they've got a heart condition and needs an op, but only has a 40% survivial rate, and yet this person would do anything for anyone, one of the nicest people we know, and yet the idiot of my ex, falls in manure and comes up smelling of roses.

Hmm well I hope it is a different and better cafcass officer , and I am away when you are back at court (if it goes ahead).

Sorry to hear about your friend, hopefully they are one of the 40%!

Thank you, thats what I've told them, they've got to be one of the 40%, unfortunately its the same cafcass officer, as cafcass won't give me a new officer, as there excuse is it would disrupte the case even further, and that they have a "working relationship" with DD. Hopeing the solicitor might be able to do something.

If it is the same officer, the as DD has met her before, and is liable to say what she thinks, - shes been brought up to respect her elders, and be polite, and generally the elders are right, but I can't say anything to DD as I'll be accused of influencing her, but as she has a right to her own opinion (which lucky she wants nothing to do with him), then hopefully she will speak her mind!!

I've got a feeling that he's going to run out of steam soon, he hasn't got what he asked for, parental responsibilty, direct access etc, so its really a losing cause. x
