    Xmas Saver!
Can't believe nearly a weeks flown by, managed to get half the sports assisgnment wrote, got 45, so thats brilliant, just 3 weeks worth study and final assisgnment to go, then get a break till september.

Dribbled a few more pounds off the debts, been throwing figures around for if money drops, def end up as a DMP, but cross that bridge nearer the time.

Had £15 vouchers today, so thats gone into wardrobe fund, nearly a 1/4 there!!

Very mse, meant to go Feb for an eye test, didn't get round to it, saw an offer for Boots, 2 prs own brand from £79, so rang and asked for brekdown of extra costs, reactions and have the 2nd pr as sunglasses, told the tint be free, and £60 for reactions. When went today, choose 2 prs of frames £79 - then they said no you have to have proper prescription sunglasses, not many left - what was left was priced £150 - all the bloke kept saying while your get the one pr free....... so I'd enough, said just give me my prescription, and I'll go some where else, becuase what I was told, and what our saying is completely different, another £70. Next minute - no problem you can have the 2nd pr of glasses as sunglasses and the tint will be free.
So pr 1, gone posh and had the reactions on, wear them all the time, pr 2, had made into prescription sunglasses, had a voucher towards the lenses, so althogether only had to pay £84. Very plzed with that. so as they'd been arkward, paid £60 and said pay the rest when there ready!

DD has now choosen her paint for her room, we must of been up and down the ailse for about an hr, she went through ever colour combination, then we found the test cards, - able to find one like her carpet, (deep purple), so she ended up with a make ur own colour from Dulux, pink colour, bit deeper than candy floss pink, so dad wasn't sure whether he needed 2 tins, but b+q had a 3 4 2 offer, so I liked the colour, so said that do my room and hopefully with the 3rd tin do their room.

So thats the plan for half - term!! xx,

DD had her interview with the court officer, luckly that went off ok, as we were half expecting a call from the school to come and collect her, but DD said the lady told her if she doesn't want to see her dad she doesn't have to. Its just such a mess, despite being there 3 hrs last week, shes rung twice this week to re go over facts that I told her. So hopefully the report be right, and see what way it swings, its court on Thursday, dreading it. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Not a bad weekend, had a lie in sat am, then gutted the bookcase and the corner in dining room, even managed to recycle a couple of her ds/wii games, she didn't want them and they still had wrappers, so thought that saves some money.

Did a carboot with dad this morning, - I was up at 5.30am, there for 6.15am, and there was cars already set up, it was cold, and the weather was bit iffy, by 10.30 i was ready to go home, there wasn't many people there, so it was silly. I made £16 so know in Prague fund, and DD made £8. got rid of a few bits and kick started the fund.

Into school later, then dentist for 1st fitting for crowns, then to the docs for a chat....... need to have my coil changed, but coz of the probs in that area, my gp surgery can't change it, so trying the nhs walk in centre have to have chat 1st with the gp. So fingers crossed he should be able to make another appointment to get it changed.

Not looking forward to court Thurs, its unlikel get chance to see the report before the case, as CAFCASS officer was still writing in Friday afternoon.

The grandparents have been really helpful, they've wrote to my solicitor saying that the excuse the he was so ill was a pack of lies - should go to discret it him. It going to being the fact that we've been in touch into the open, would have to come eventually, just been trying to protect madam as much as I can. There coming across end of June for the weekend, so the plan is I meet them first, (met them once before), and then an questions etc get out of the way and said the 2nd day i'd bring DD and take them out for the day, somewhere neutral, but on the other hand somewhere we know, so DD feel at ease and she can do something.
At the mo debating, ice-cream farm, open air museum (victorian living style) or steam train trip - but I'm thinking with that were stuck together.

better go to bed...... otherwise may use the dentists chair for 40 winks.

Good news, my new bank card came yesterday!! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

The dentist - ahh!! bless he was so gentle, and said raise your hand if it hurts... won't use an anathestic as haven't got to go near the route canel, I hate drills....... but he fun getting the temp crown off the one tooth it had stuck solid, but he's shaped the two teeth, took the shapings, hated the taste of it, and 2 more temp caps, but were sorted now for 2 weeks!!

Got nothing now for 2 days so plan is to get the pratical done on the sports assisgnment, and then write it up next week,,, but u know me and plans.

  • Oh you are so much braver than me, I hate the dentist with a passion, the thought of it makes me have a bit of an anxious flutter :o I have to admit that I haven't been in a while, I think I was due a check up about 6 months ago :o One of my jobs for when I get back off holiday :D

Good luck for Thursday, is that the hearing date? Has your solicitor had the Cafcass report yet? If Cafcass has finished typing it, they can fax it through to your solicitor who can then e-mail it to you so you can see it beforehand, if it is done there is no reason why you should not be able to read it tomorrow ;) (assuming it is done as they are a bit pants :D)

Thank you all, I could cry.
Got the cafcass report, basically I'm the wicked witch of the west, he's Prince Charming, his new partner (don't get me started on that one!! - she even went to the cafcass meeting, yet my dd is nothing to do with her),

There was some positivies, they've disagreed with some of his requests, but look like there agreeing to indirect contact either sent to the solicitors or cafcass and they forward it. But its what the judge says tomorrow.

Just got to bite my tounge, would think super glue be better, be better when 2mor over, feel that I can start living again. I've spent 8 yrs with what if, etc, and not wrapping DD in cotton wool, but becuase of the history, its affected everyone, we have emergency plans in schools, that if anyone rings they have a password.
Good news bar seeing him 2mor, dreading, - but we'll get through it, he's out of my life nearly offically, and I intend to start living. I guess the saying life begins at 40, is def going to apply to me.

So weird tonight, I had a holiday brochere sent through, click site or one of those, ordered upto 3 brocheres, ordered Ireland, Devon and Rhyl, DD grabbed the Irish one, asked me to find on the map where her grandparents lived, so got her to find it (good introduction to map reading), and she found 3 cottage / houses in the town they live in and said it would be nice to go across.

Then (this is a brandy moment.... maybe a double or the bottle!!), mum pipes up Dad (that means she wants something), that sounds a great idea, maybe we could go to Ireland next year in the summer holidays and take bailey with us, as some of these cottages allow dogs and have downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. She was serious!!! When I said it was a 4hr drive from Dublin, if we took the ferry, oh..... while as long as I get a toilet stop we're be ok. You could have knocked me down with a feather... xx
Will catch up 2mor with the outcome, and its a mini payday, so its out as quick as it goes in, but few more pounds paid.

Had a treat today, went out for lunch with DD's school teacher, had a really good natter about life, travel, and the school, it did us both the world of good. xx
