  • Hi

Has anyone had any experience of clawback from WTC people? It appears that I have had money taken in previous years that should not have happened as the threshold for clawback was £25k and I earn below that. I was wondering if anyone else has found this and managed to get the claw back returned?

    thanks

    Morning all
    and ouch! ouch! ouch!
    feet hurt
    nettle rash throbs
    back hurts
ibuprofen taken...good walk though we saw LOADS of butterflies including BLUE ones and what I said was a raggy tortoiseshell but having got the book out it was a COMMA, dragonflies...and some sort of mammal which we think, with the glimpse we got, was a weasel.
We live close to Chatsworth Road here and had originally decided to head outin the Chatsworth Direction for a walk but decided to go to Glapwell, Stony Houghton, Palterton instead. This proved to be a good choice as the road over to Chatsworth/Bakewell/Rowsley and the High Peak was solid with trafic. On the second part of our walk we saw no-one at all...and not many on the first part.
(Ooh I found a plum tree loads of blackthorn (sloe) watercress, apple trees too!)
the backache BTW is probably due to a bad sleeping position (ie on my front so not goof if you're a female woman with boobs!)

Glad you had a nice time Valli. I'm very jealous... I walked to the shop for a newspaper and that was it. Did you go foraging, or are you planning to go back with a large rucksack?!

Early start this morning didn't happen. I have a migraine that isn't enough to stop me getting up, but won't let me do anything (well, I hung out the washing, but it was hard work), so have cancelled my afternoon out.

Hopefully it will disappear soon and I can have a walk and spend some time lying around in the garden! It's either due to the stress of the build-up to the interview on Friday, or karma for lying about being ill while I was incommunicado!

BUT i had to tell the Council and prove exactly how much money was in sarahs savings account when i applied for council tax benefit aswell as my own bank accounts. So childrens money matters for that.

Thanks for confirming that Johanne - this is where they check you're not hiding your money as children's savings...

Valli - if you sleep with a pillow under your tummy it might prevent backache as your back won't arch. However, you'll still have to choose between breathing and neck ache :D

Ha ha! Victory is mine! well...ours.

Please may I have a star, soappie? Last one of the week(end), spare oom DONE.
eta dolly I will have a crack at this and valli can tell me if it's right.

There is a hormone that is produced in your body in pregnancy and that hormone is produced in tiny amounts in very early pregnancy, but that amount increases quite quickly in the early stages. The test strip reacts with the hormone to become coloured, so in very very early pregnancy, the strip may not change colour (not enough of the hormone yet) or may just turn very faintly coloured. A few days later, if the person is pregnant, then the strip that didn't become coloured before, may do now, as there is more of the hormone present.

    hope that helps?!

yep - exactly my understanding too - I'll just add the proviso that those on fertitily treatment (or with other hormone issues) might have problems as Pigpen said. My initial post assumed no fertility/health issues (because I would assume they were under treatment and receiving pertinent medical advice TBH) so a positive is yes but a negative is not necessarily NO!
