I really need to focus upstairs next week, as downstairs (apart from the utility room) is pretty much decluttered and easy to maintain. Upstairs needs a ruthless declutter (of clothes mostly), although the vast amount of filing done last week has helped. I haven't hoovered upstairs for a couple of weeksand you can tell!
Still, it's a LOT cleaner and tidier than it would have been before I joined this thread, which is about a year ago (just after Valli I think!).
Thanks for the lists Pigpen, the stars Toots and Soappie and the rest of you for the encouragement!0 -
Hello! Busy busy weekend, will tell you all about it tomorrow, as DH wants the laptop back now.

Soappie, I love the fact that you had your Mum’s engagement ring and your Dad’s handkerchief with you at the wedding, I thought that was really sweet
Rach, glad to hear the job is going so well and that you are feeling much better
Fedup, so sorry to hear about Mr Elderly Dog, big hugs for you

Hugs Jojo sounds like you have a lot going on at the moment. Hope your ankle and neck are better soon
Tashja so sorry to hear about your disastrous holiday, hope you are all recovered now
MOJ2 if your ex was taking the kids away himself, it wouldn’t be a problem, so I don’t see why it would matter if he pays for them to go away with you
Welcome Mrs Moneyspinner and Witchwoopiggy – well done for telling us of your health issues, many of us (including me) have depression so we are an understanding bunch
Kazw how did the demolition go?

Thank Rosepink. They really need a holiday and I think that DH would use some savings he has I think he want to take them away next year so no doubt see this as a good bargaining tool. I don't mean that in a bad way either. we plan on going to Florida as I can do my with some Tesco vouchers and food is included in the deal :j:j must be made to even think about taking them on my own but it will never happen if I don't. will probably take my niece with me if she is allowed too.
