:j:D:j:hello:Hi toots!! It's lovely to have you back.

gingergirl - hugs, and you and your friend will be in my thoughts.

I'm not going to get my fifth star this week, as the boys have spent another couple of hours on their room today - and it looks worse than it did before they started:eek: I'm refusing absolutely to go in there. It's up to them to get it sorted - although there will be a certain amount of motivational shouting sometime tomorrow - you may very well hear it.

I've done all the other days though, and some extra decluttering as well. It suddenly occurred to me that brother and SIL may like my gardening magazines, so I took a bag over when I visited Mum this afternoon - they can collect it from there.

dusty - are you looking forward to your holiday? We're off on Friday, and I'm getting a little bit excited! Only a bit of shopping to do for it, as I bought lots for Marseilles.

sexymouse - where did you fancy going for a break? There's a great thread on Trips and Holidays (or whatever it's called now) where the travel agents can help find something.
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be

Don't know why there are so many butterflies buit I would guess that lots of people are planting butterfly friendly flowers. Having said that in my garden I get cabbage whites (and their blimmin offspring lol) and tortoiseshells...
The butterflies I saw yesterday (and the Burnet Moths) were feeding on thistle and scabious. I think that part of our walk was meadow planted following industrial reclamation.
    This was part of it...

Valli, it looks like a long hike (5 miles??!!??) but I must admit it looks lovely.

Was out yesterday and the amount of caterpillars is astounding. Lots of leaves being munched too. It's times like this I'm glad I don't have a garden!

    xx

Thanks for doing the stars soappie. Hope you're feeling better now.

No worries, and tomorrow will be the test as to whether or not I'm better. I've been really pooped today - but that may just be the long and tiring day yesterday. An earlish night should, hopefully, sort me out.

Oh and everyone - the real Toots is now back at the helm. For which you'll be relieved - she doesn't make any of the mistakes that I do!

We are off on Friday too - are you going by shuttle or ferry? You know me I find the whole getting away bit very stressful but the swimwear and teabags are packed! Are you looking forward to your trip? How long is your journey?

Just laid on the sofa watching iplayer for an hour. DS1 accidentally injured my hand earlier with the long handled pruners. A puncture wound which is not too bad but the trauma to the tissue is very sore and stiff across my whole hand down to my elbow so no ironing tonight; I do need to make OH cake those but the magimix can do most of it.

    Evening folks

Right, I have worked solidy on the concrete with the power breaker, the skip is about 1/4 full, and the concrete is very very hard work on your own, and it is by no means even half way yet. My upper front thighs are coming out in bruises! from where the power break kicked back into me.......I ache, going to take the power breaked back tomorrow or they will charge me another £38 or where abouts per day, because I am at work, all the loose concrete I will move out during the week. I just don't have enough upper body strenght to keep using the kangoo hammer.

I am also going to find a couple of strong labours from somewhere.

I hope you are all well and had a good weekend.
