Think initiative and common sense are banned these days. Twice recently my Morrisons has been unable to supply hot water for tea when the tea machine has broken.
They are not alone - our Sainsburys cafe closed when the dishwasher broke down. As for M&S - it seems to be a DIY cafe as you inevitably end up clearing and cleaning a table yourself.
if its broken its BROKEN. go elsewhere. is that the only place in town with hot water??????????
bout time people cleaned up after themselves. throw ur crap away and leave the tray tiny in the slot. all this messy tables/sauce smeared all over tables/chairs, e.t.c is nonsense and damn disgusting.
wherever i eat out I always tidy up, whether its burger king or a restaurant. i always leave it as tidy as possible. sink n tired of goin in KFC and finding bags of rubbish strewn everywhere. No need.0 -
So there you have it. According to chuckley's guide to Britain in 2009, customers should carry their own sauce/sugar sachets (stolen ones, naturally), provide their own hot water in flasks, (presumably in order that they can pay £1.60 just for a tea bag and paper cup - if fact, sod that, customers should bring along the ruddy tea bag and paper cup too - and the milk!!! - why on earth should the restaurant be expected to supply them?), and of course the customer should also carry a dishcloth and bottle of Mr Muscle surface cleaner everywhere they go, so they can clean their own tables in restaurants.0

sorry but OP, people like u really get on my WICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ur the type that goes into a fastfood place with a family order and get the food but want a refund when they say they have run out of ketchup, OR go into a bar and ask for a coffee/tea and when told they have run out, u tell the staff to go buy some.
like SERIOUSLY.... DO IT YOURSELF!!!!!! GO to starbucks for a coffee. go buy ur own sauce! if its run out get an alternative or do without!!!!!! or better yet carry round sachets with u (plenty to nick from bhs), coz I do.
It's sauce nickers like you that cause the problem.0 -

In all fairness though, staff cannot just wander into the aisles and pick up stock! regardless of what it is for.
These places have budgets for each "department".
Maybe you should try educating the brainless people working there i.e
"is there any sauce?"
"No"
"Why not?"
"The sauce bucket is empty"
"ooookkkkkkk...........who fills it up?"
"not my job - usually already done"
" oookkkk...do you have a store cupbaord in the kitchen?"
"Yes"
"Can you go and see if there is a big box that says HP sauce on the side?"
etc.
etc.
The worst they can say is "no"
Ay which point I will happily listen to a rant about manners/attitude/customer service and rudeness.
but please - no more sauce! lol!0 -

No i'm not the type to go somewhere and want a refund when I get the food. If you could be bothered to read the post properly in the first place you'll find I asked if they had the sauce before I placed the order therefore not wasting anyones time or having to ask for a refund.
It's people like you that get on my WICK!!!!! who don't read things properly before having a pop.
Whilst i'm on with a rant there is also the fact you don't know me either so don't assume that i'm that type of person because i'm not. I am however assuming that you're American as you use phrases such as ''Like Seriously'' before carrying on with what you want to say :rotfl:

I had the same in Sainsburys. I ordered fish, chips and garden peas. I was told, 10 minutes after I'd placed the order, that they'd run out of peas. When I pointed out that there a supermarket full of peas 10 yards away he looked at me as though I was insane and said they'd run out of peas and that was that.
ewwwwwthings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back thenMercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok
