much better at sainsburys - they cook what they sell, so no problem there with running out of stuff

    morrisons cafe is not good

Hmm we went to sainsburys last week..monday at 1.15pm and they had run out of 7 main things of the menu..when my dh asked why they couldnt get at least some things from the shop the lad said some they can but these they get told off for!!.. we went to M&S. Have to say we go to morrisons quite a bit to eat and find their food good all the time.
.oh and im 30 not 70!!

:rotfl: I thought you might be but you didn't read it properly or you would have noticed I hadn't ordered :D:D

To me the sauce is just as important as the rest of the stuff on a breakfast. It's like having a breakfast without bacon or sausage... It doesn't work :D:D

There is the problem. Initiative is not part of the job spec and the use of it is frowned on by management because it makes them look stupid. Draw your own conclusions from that.

That is so true. My wife has been working as a manager in Morrisons now for 3 months, after the bought the store she was in. Her previous employer encouraged you to use your initiative, and she loved it. Morrisons however have there structure, and nobody uses their inititiave and it's frowned on by the senior managers. She hates the company, and is amazed they do so well. The only saving grace is the pay rise she got and bonuses.
