Does sound like some sort of mistake with O2's billing, which they would need to sort out - the actual price should indeed be £14.69 and if they've sent you a letter confirming this then you just need to give them a call - we have no access to O2's billing systems.
Regards,
Hi Ben so it should be £14.69 including vat ?It's not just about the money0 -
Yes, £14.69 including VAT at 15% - which is £15 at 17.5%.

To be fair, we did answer within the hour.. And we use an 01923 number deliberately to reduce the costs of calling us, hopefully free/inclusive.
Regards,
Out of interest how much will my 2 Hour 15 minutes phone call to your place on 01923 have cost me this morning from my landline ????It's not just about the money0 -

Could be, that would explain it, although I'm not sure whether they'd list it as one line rental amount or 1 month + separately 3 or 4 days. Not seen a first O2 bill for a while.
Either way, O2 will help whereas we'd just be guessing.

Yes it was bought on O2 100 which you say on your website is £15 per month with a reduction for the VAT at 15% instead of 17.5% etc For example a £35 tariff will be billed at £34.26.
However we got a letter from O2 saying it would be £14.69 per month which was followed by a bill a few days later charging £14.83 plus VAT of £2.22 making it £17.05 ??????
I spoke to Customer Services at your place but they had no idea and the person who could help is not in today so I need to phone up O2 and see whats going on
Almost certainly 1st month's bill being for more than 1 month to settle on a fixed billing date. The bill should tell you the period of rental with from/to dates. O2 don't have a tariff of £17.05 per month! (I think!)0 -
A pro-rat bill will show (pretend you got it on the 8th)
8th-9th - Online 100.... 0.43
10th-9th - Online 100 .... 14.69
Total - 15.12
Total including VAT - 17.38
That is, if you were pro-rata billed for 2 days, and my calculations are actually correct.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
Thanks for the input guys I can't get O2 sorted yet as it's a new acct with no passwords yet etc etc so will get back to them this afternoon to find out.
Got things to catch up on first after being on to Ben's place all morning :rotfl::rotfl:
Will update later onIt's not just about the money0 -
Latest update is 6 hours after mobiles.co.uk admitting they have rec'd email and would deal with asap there is still no reply so after spending 2 hours 15 minutes on the phone this morning I'm no further on :mad:It's not just about the money0
