    Slk,

No problem, we've sent the cheque and cancelled the contract so as previously stated the matter is closed. Cheques can take up to 28 days to arrive and it was requested by us approx. 2 weeks ago.

What do you mean "No Problem" ???????
The " Problem" is still here
    You haven't sent a cheque because I haven't received one !
Your Sevice Manager hasn't written to me !
You didn't cancell the contract because I had to !
    You didn't ring me!
    You didn't reply to emails
So the matter is not closed at all !
It's not just about the money

Cheques take up to 28 days to arrive. We requested it roughly 14 days ago.
Your Sevice Manager hasn't written to me !

We consider the matter closed. I apologised on here, and we have sent a goodwill cheque. We do not have time to continue correspondence with ex-customers.
You didn't cancell the contract because I had to !

This is incorrect. I told you multiple times that the contract cancellation took a while to go through, so that if you phoned O2 and they told you it was still live you would know why. The contract was cancelled following our request and we have a reference number from O2 confirming this.

You have no O2 contract, a goodwill compensation cheque on its way and the phone has been returned to us. Hence, case closed.

I'm not happy with the delay you say you experienced when trying to request an exchange for the faulty phone, but that's the end of the matter.

I'm still waiting for an apology ......

For a so called company rep, who is happy to call me a "liar", who deals out false accusations of rudeness to me, and posts derogatory (and unneccessarily inflammatory) comments about me:

Trust me, I've met more knowledgeable potatoes.

to then publicly complain about waiting to see an apology from someone (who has been also referred to as being less knowledgeable than a potato) takes some swallowing!

But I suppose we do at least get an insight into the standards set by the company for how they are to be perceived by both customers/prospective customers visiting these threads.

    MJ,

Just because it's so symbolic of everything else you're wrong about, you do realise the plural of potato is actually "potatoes"?

I'm still waiting for an apology on the "bindiboo" thread by the way, I notice you went very quiet when proved wrong on that one as well.

    Regards,

Have no idea why you want any apology for Bindaloo; you paid him because you refused delivery of a claim which arrived on a Sautrday. I never once said that you were wrong to deny THEIR claim!! I did, however, KNOW that you were specifically LYING about others where - according to you - they were "connected" in January because I know FOR A FACT that they weren't connected until FEBRUARY - and despite telling your claims department that when they perfectly legitimate claims were denied they were STILL refused! Only when they went public on here did you actually PAY them - and I do know that avoided at least one law suit had you not!

I suggest you spend your time running round in circles trying to plug the increasing holes in HMS PR rather more effectively than that, since you obviously aren't doing ANYTHING to actually PUT THINGS RIGHT. THAT would mean a fundamental shift in your attitude and company's approach - something which is clearly and rapidly going in the opposite direction! Since you are so concerned with the English language I will spell that out for you: D O W N H I L L - I bow to your superior knowledge with respect to "potato", since it was your concern to label me as such!

I must add that for someone who is supposedly representing such a fantastic company it's even more amazing that, having repeatedly stated that you will ignore me you instead proceed to try to force me away from challenging the rubbish you come out with, hurl threats and finally resulting to pathetic insults. All the true clolours of a cpw clone!

It is pleasing to see that some people have already seen you for what you are - though also actually very disappointing that they need to!

So, because I'm a company rep, you should be able to say what you like about me and my company, no matter how wrong, biased, untruthful, inflammatory, inaccurate or damaging to our reputation without me calling you on it?

I'm sure you'd like this to be true, but unfortunately it's not.

As with almost every other thread you've contributed to you were flat-out wrong about why bindiboo's claim was denied, you used the thread to post lies and completely inaccurate claims about the company based on your own flawed and biased assumptions, and you fled the scene as soon as the customer a) complained about her request for help being 'hijacked' and b) thanked me for helping them understand the issue, and resolving their problem.

Please, as I've asked many times, either talk to me directly about issues you have or keep your theories and opinions out of threads where the OP has asked for help relating to my company. You're of course welcome to share them with those who'd like to hear them elsewhere.

The problem is you think I try to argue with you out of some sort of "spin" attempt whereas in fact it's because you're wrong, and exagerate my every action into some cartoonish evil deed, as with the job title. Because you obviously can't admit you're wrong, or that I might be here to help, we can't have a civil conversation.

Because you won't stop attacking me I find it hard to walk away, but you're not attacking out of anything other than ego and spite; 0.0001% of our customers come here with a problem and you assume that it's the case for every other one. No business has a 100% success rate at everything (maybe you do? Care to come here as a rep for them?) but surely a sign of a good company is that they try to fix the problems, rather than ignore them? Or am I here because all this back and forward with you and MJ is good for us?

No problem, we've sent the cheque...... Cheques can take up to 28 days to arrive.....

When any company first claims to have "sent a cheque", then qualifies it by saying it could take 28 days to arrive, does it ring any alarm bells?

Even royal mail accept an item is delivered within 15 days or it is officially lost!

How many items take more than 3/4 days to be delivered even when posted second class?

Sorry, you're wrong again, bindiboo had their phone connected (according to the definition of connected which our T&Cs have stated since August 2007) in January but delivered in February, so I explained the error, paid the claim out of goodwill (we all make mistakes) and got the website updated to be even clearer about how customers can work out their connection date. This was after 4 pages of yourself and Quentin going on about how this was obviously a case of us refusing a valid claim, etc etc etc, despite not knowing the details.

    Thanks for your thoughts,

Firstly, the word I used was "requested", which you have swapped for "sent" to try and make your point; this is par for the course but I thought I'd point it out so you can see why I get frustrated trying to have a sensible discussion with you.

Our secure printing process takes around 14 days (due to oversight requirements and their internal processes; how much do you know about high volume secure printing onto watermarked paper?), and RM accept 2nd class post as lost after 14 days, so "up to 28 days".

But we've been over this many times and you show no sign of accepting these facts, so I don't see any need to repeat the exercise.

    Thanks for your thoughts,
