I'm probably going to get flamed for this but Jeez give the guy a break :o I have nothing to to with the company, never even heard of them but I feel for the people in customer service. Clearly they are understaffed & can't cope, not good enough I agree but I'm betting there is a recruitment ban on right now (as with many companies) so what are they meant to do?? If you want to complain convince the powers that be they need more staff - the people on the phones/answering emails I'm sure are just as fed up

My housemate works in customer service & she often comes home in tears, same problem. Instead of a team of 6 there is 2 people on the phone at the min due to long term sickness & leave... Even if they could recruit people need hiring & training. I really don't think people understand.

And come on Ben, what about a reply to my PM/emails?

    Hi,

I don't have any in my inbox - I'm sure I only deleted ones I had dealt with (there's a 50 limit), but I know some didn't come through as my inbox filled up last Friday - any chance you still have them in your Sent PMs folder?

First of Ben read the above posts regarding what happened.
David spoke to my partner and she could not speak due to work which you fully knew about
My partner requested the call because she couldn't talk to him
David was supposed to call at 10.45 he didn't as everyone knows on here it was run live as it was happening ;)
My phone system registers missed calls and takes messages THERE WAS NO CALL AND THERE WAS NO MESSAGE FROM YOUR COMPANY

I can cope with tall stories Ben and I can cope with the constant errors and total lack of interest by your staff. I cannot cope with the lies that you are relating.
This matter is far from closed
Please tell me when the account was closed and why I have had no confirmation from your company regarding this ?

    Hi,

After looking into it I'm satisfied that the Returns staff spoke to the customer, explained what was happening, attempted to call the partner as promised and didn't get an answer.

I do not know when the account was closed (or if it has happened yet - the phone had to be forwarded to the warehouse and requires processing there) but if you email returns@mobiles.co.uk I'm sure they will be able to help.

I have to say I agree. Whilst Ben doesn't seem vastly trained on a lot of things from what I have read, he's bloody trying hard here. Some people need to realise that he is here to help to the best of his abilities, and that there are other customers in the world.

And this is coming from someone who would never recommend this company (sorry Ben :o)

How many times does it have to be said what happened here
Even now you are saying you don't know if it's been cancelled
This realy is astounding Ben ....you only make the situation worse by your constant spin on the situation.
We have emailed the Returns det 3 times and copied you in once and still NO REPLY

There was no phone call to me and you even got the times wrong on the attempted call to my partner

You seem to have completly lost the plot here Ben as to whats happening.

    Hi,

I don't work in Returns and I'm not at work so I don't know how to look - but it's either already done or underway. The date of cancellation will be the date the phone was received by us no matter when the cancellation is processed by the warehouse, but they have a lot of phones to work through as they cover us and multiple other brands.

As I said, the customer was spoken to successfully Tuesday and the situation explained, hence no reply to the emails. I said "around 9:20" because I didn't have the details in front of me so it was from memory; this is when we spoke to the customer, and subsequently a call was placed to yourself but not answered.

The effective date of cancellation, ie the date the billing will stop, is the date we received the phone.

I do not know, as I said. It's either been done or it will be done shortly, so if you speak to the network and they tell you it's still live you'll understand why. The date the phone was received back is the date the contract ceases in any event.
