Hi Mobiles.co.uk REP. I am afriad that you are incorrect as I have been complaining to mobiles.co.uk for the past 3-4 weeks and I have not received any replies to my emails. I admit, at the beginning (around 20th July) I had a couple of phonecalls but my complaint has still not been resolved.

It is bad enough that Mobiles.co.uk have witheld my £150 "Credit check Fee" and have not even set me up with a contract with O2. (I have also made several phonecalls to O2, they have not got any records of the contract or of them receiving £150 fee, let alone requesting it). I have emailed Zoe Hirst, Ben Stroud and mgordonreid, all of which have not responded.
    Welcome to the Forum Mel,
Good luck with this you are going to need it ;)

Some familiar happenings here Ben don't you think ;)

    Hi,

Sorry, I'm obviously confused about who this is vs who the customer is - we tried to return the call (I've checked the logs to make sure) but there was no answer.

Hi, PM me your order number and I'll make sure the lack of replies is looked into?
I ordered on the 13th July, finally received it on 22nd July wihtout a SIM Card. After several phonecalls (lasting around 1.5 hours each) I received a SIM Card which does not work. I have been informed that I need to pay the postage to return the Wii/Wii Fit and the phone (can't imagine how much tthat would cost!!) in order to place another order so that mobiles.co.uk can send me out another Wii/Phone? I find this very difficult to comprehend.
Customers are required to pay for postage where a return is under the changed-mind cancellation policy, but not for faulty items - so this is incorrect and we will refund you any postage used. Without looking at the order I don't know what's happened here exactly.
It is bad enough that Mobiles.co.uk have witheld my £150 "Credit check Fee"
£150 is a deposit requested by (and paid to) O2, not ourselves.
...and have not even set me up with a contract with O2. (I have also made several phonecalls to O2, they have not got any records of the contract or of them receiving £150 fee, let alone requesting it).
It sounds like your SIM wasn't activated, but O2 should still be able to locate your account and credit check - so I'm not sure why they've told you this.
I am quite happy to forward you all the emails if you require them. I am at a stage now, where I feel mobiles.co.uk owe me compensation for my time and interest on my £150. I reckon I have spent at least 10+ hours dealing with this, it is absolutley ridiculous. Why can't someone just set up the SIM card and post it out????
If you PM me so I can get the unreplied-to emails looked into I will also find out why your problem hasn't been solved yet, and get someone from CS to give you a call.

    Sorry for the inconvenience,

PS - Sorry but I didn't notice this reply before, hence the delay in responding.

Even if there was no answer why wouldn't you leave a msg to say you had rung ?????????

The only information I have here is that we spoke to the customer Tuesday morning around 0920, explained that the cancellation was being actioned and the cheque raised for compensation, and the customer requested a call to the partner as well.

This call was made as a courtesy, there was no answer and no voicemail left because we had already spoken to the customer and advised what was happening.

We consider this matter closed; the phone has been returned, the contract cancelled and discretionary compensation paid as a goodwill gesture.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
First of Ben read the above posts regarding what happened.
David spoke to my partner and she could not speak due to work which you fully knew about
My partner requested the call because she couldn't talk to him
David was supposed to call at 10.45 he didn't as everyone knows on here it was run live as it was happening ;)
My phone system registers missed calls and takes messages THERE WAS NO CALL AND THERE WAS NO MESSAGE FROM YOUR COMPANY

I can cope with tall stories Ben and I can cope with the constant errors and total lack of interest by your staff. I cannot cope with the lies that you are relating.
This matter is far from closed
Please tell me when the account was closed and why I have had no confirmation from your company regarding this ?

By the way the call was timed at 09.43
