Quite surprised...went to doctor's today for something unconnected and they happily offered Xenical. I know about the need to avoid fat as much as possible, but I suppose it's a way of preventing lapses, as you know you can't just say 'oh, just this once'. Seeing as I dislike sweet things intensely and am not keen on oily, fatty things, it's going to be interesting to see if my fat intake is really the culprit.
Does anyone know if things like fresh salmon have too much fat to be eaten with Xenical? I do really love grilled or steamed fish.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
sorry jojo never heard of Xenical so can't help you there.
haven't had the best day food wise today so I'm here to confess all and start a fresh tomorrow.
weighed out my cereal this morning and had a banana mid morning, then had a bbq this afternoon. Had nachos and dip (not many), garlic bread (about 3 slices maybe), bbq chicken drumstick, spicy chicken wing, burger on a roll (no butter) with cheese slice and ketchup, potato wedges and potato salad then a slice of cheesecake, a bit of strawberry meringue and some chocolate profiteroles!!!
wasn't planning on having anything this evening but DH prepared hot dogs and wedges whilst I was putting DD to bed and then we had more cheesecake.
so like I say fresh start tomorrow. hope everyone else has done better than me!!!0 -
I'm rather late in this time, sorry!
Diet has not been at all good recently. Basically I've fallen off the wagon and it's shown with a 4lb  weight gain last week when I weighed in (gained over 2 weeks). I'm desperately trying to get myself back into the right headspace but to be honest I'm falling back into the trap of believing I'm never, ever going to be a 'normal' weight.0 -
Add me in Dragon please.
Ive put on 2lb on my USA holiday but now Im back to my target 1200 calories a day and would like to lose another 2 and half stone.0 -
Good to see you again lightisfading and hethmar!
I didn't weigh in today - we were out looking at puppies yesterday and I spent too long standing (and getting my fingers licked and nibbled!) and I didn't dare try to stand without my crutches today
Ah well I will just keep plodding on and hope for the best!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

1 lb on at weight in today tut!! I've had such a horrendous day, thanks to evil opticians and me being almost as blind as a bat and having to have 'complex lenses' which roughly translated means 'we are going to rob you blind' grrrrrr
I've done practically no exercise all last week aside from a 3 mile walk on wednesday and dragging OH around sainsburys and only 3 weeks to go til holidays
TOTM is here as well which is another reason I'm feeling all stressy and rubbish. Instead of going out and bulk buying on the choccie (which I would normally have done), I'm going to have an options hot choccie and get my PJs on and not move off the sofa til bedtime.
XXXXAll the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person...
