  • Morning all!!

Lots of losers this week - well done!!! :j:T

Sorry - I've been a terrible poster this last week! My eating's just been so errattic, I haven't really wanted to admit it. Lack of organisation has definitely been my problem, usually live at my mums and she's having a new kitchen put in - due to a few unreliable workmen, she's effectively been without a kitchen for a good 2 weeks now, and it''ll probably take about 2 more....

Anyway, half living at OH's for now - so we did a meal plan yesterday to see us through the next 2 weeks, then went to the chinese supermarket and stocked up (for the first time and what an exciting place - very MSE!) so really, I've no excuse!

Lighisfading - that's a great idea, ok - so my one thing for this week will be to go to the gym at least twice this week, and also go running at least once (Not a huge commitment on the exercise front - but it's all about the babysteps! ;) Might as well choose something I'm actually likely to stick to!)

    Happy slimming everyone!

    xx

PS One minor achievement for me this week - I climbed my first ever Munroe! :j:T:A Battled on through the wind and rain - I've never done any climbing before, so in hindsight it was maybe a bit ambitious for my first attempt - but I'm quite chuffed with myself for managing it anyway! :D

    Very well done. :T:T

There are 284 munroes in Scotland so only another 283 to go.

Sometimes it feels like shedding the lbs is like climbing a mountain :rotfl:

Doing ok here, I've been to exercise classes two-three times a week and they are really helping burn the fat and build muscle. I keep prodding the fab bits to see if they are less wobbly :rotfl:

Hi losers!! ( i love saying that hehe!! ;) )
Sorry for the late post - but i've got a new moby and it's very addictive.

Unfortunately i'm not a loser this week! I stayed the bl***y same. I just can't seem to shift the 2lb i need to, to reach 4 stone

So we are half way thro' august and i've only lost a 1lb - i'm VERY disappointed with myself and hope that i've not reached my Plato!!
could lose another 4 stone easily and then some!! :o

On the plus side and what is keeping me going is the fact that i've managed to get into some of my smaller clothes, one of which is a 24 (skirt), and this makes it all worth while!

Went for lunch yesterday with all the inlaws, and 2 of my sister in laws commented on my weight loss saying that i look really well and that you can tell that i have lost - such a great feeling to finally have a compliment or two ( OH never bothers  - Men honestly!!).

So, i will keep going, and see how well i do in the next 2 weeks and see if i can recoup a couple of lbs before my bank holiday break with DD.

Hope everyone has had some of the sunshine over the weekend, and get's the mini heatwave next week that they are forecasting , i'm gonna go and see what is in the freezer for tea and then eat it in the garden me thinks.

will be keeping up with the thread over the coming week, and will post on friday after my weigh in. xx

Yes! Managed to get back to Boots and since the beginning of August I have lost 2 pounds :D, I'm not sure I will shift 5 pounds in the next couple of weeks but I will give it my best shot. Dr Dragon said that if I could lose a pound a week (2 by preference) then I will start wasting away - if only :rotfl:

  • Been feeling all sluggish for past couple of days so I don't hold high hopes for next wi :( If I've lost the 1lb I put on last week I will be happy. :D

I got OH to make me a training plan to take me through the next couple of weeks so we'll see how that goes. I went for a long walk with my doggie yesterday and today so I'm trying to keep to my exercise-each-day pledge.

Not much in the way of sunshine today, chucked it down most of the afternoon. Hoping we get some of this mini heatwave, it might motivate me to work harder to shift the lbs.

See you all for WI tomorrow

Well, it's midweek for me (I weigh in on Wed evenings) and so far I have stuck to it 100% :T I've diligently tracked everything I put in my mouth (yup, even the 1/2 bag of licorice I munched at the computer before I'd even had brekkie/brunch this morning  ) and have stuck to points. Hopefully I'll stick to it for the rest of the week and see a result!

How's everyone else doing with their 'one small thing'?
