Help us please to stop harrassing calls from energy savers [Merged]

I started to work from home last Novemember and these people are the bane of my working day. I am going to try telling them I am with British Gas and see what happens next. I think they will just keep calling until I give in anyway.

I was getting fed up with calls from these cretins so I was glad when my husband answered the phone one evening and I could only hear his side of the conversation but it went something like this:-

DH:

Hello?
Yes, it is.
Well, I'll tell you in a minute but first, can you tell me how many windows are in your house?
Yes, I did say windows!
Well, for a 2 bed semi it would be approx. £3,500 but for you I'll throw in a new front door as well.
Well, yes, I will sign up for your gas supplier just as soon as you give me your bank account details for your new windows.
What? You didn't ask for new windows?
That's strange cos I didn't ask to change gas supplier.
Ok. Give me your number and I'll phone you everyday, twice a day, until you agree to buy these windows.

My DH was quite disappointed when they hung up and never phoned again.

Oh, and by the way - he's a nurse and has never sold windows in his life!

I should try that next time I get a call, but try and sell them IVF or something like that

Just got another one from this irritating lot! I thought I was rid of them after the last spate, but 3 months later they're back. Grrr.
