Try Tescos in store, last week it was £7 for 1 weeks european cover, i think it was on offer but i am sure that if its full price its only about £10.

Either way Endsleigh whilst not quite the cheapest offer a very comprehensive policy sometimes with a discount for full time students.


Just had a look now, 1 week (i.e. just under 8 full days) £15.46 2 weeks £19.49 for the comprehensive (very well specified) policy.

I'm going on holiday next month and need to get my travel insurance sorted. Does anyone know any cheap companies? I'm just going on a beach holiday to Portugal and I want baggage cover.

Try looking in the travel articles on this site, there are loads of links there.

EDIT: Don't forget to check what your home contents policy covers. Ours covers baggage so all I really look for is medical cover.

I find Moneysupermarket Travelnsurance to be an excellent start point. They turned out to be so good that I've taken ANNUAL insurance cover, simply because we go away about 3 times a year [and it worked out cheaper to do it that way].
