cboo wrote:Hi, had a look at that and 35 pounds is cheap but the amount it covers isn't very good, if I were you i would look at spendin 50 -60 and get more cover for personal loss, hospital stay etc.... don't know where you are going but you never know..

looked on the articles page of the site to do the homework on this subject .. but it just points to the moneysupermarket site and gives warnings about comparing the detail etc etc . Fully understand.
Looked on that site and of course loads of deals.but masses of options/ variances
Can't find anything else, even in this chat forum .. as an "idiots guide to the current best deal" .
Must apply to thousands now .... 18 year old boy going to spain for 7 days in july. Need quality cover .. everthing included .. but want the best deal .
also consider whether quidco/topcashback applies/helps.
can anyone help pls ?0 -
Am going to Tenerife tomorrow for 2 weeks and I got my travel insurance from Sainsburys for £29 which including getting rid of the excess charges in case i have to make a claim. You also can get necter points when your purchase your insurance and they will give you a quote over the internet for the cover that you want0

no-one got any other ideas ????
i'd have thought at this time of year as thousands of people go to europe on holiday this would be a top topic .... for moneysavers .
even the main article on the site just points to moneysupermarket.com which just shows a minefield of deals .
Surely there must be mse's who've done the homework and found the best deals ?0 -
I've used this company when I've been away, they always seem cheap. For a random week in July they quoted £8.50 for 7 days standard cover (no ski cover) in Europe for an 18 year old. This space has been intentionally left blank0

Boots have got some good offers, I paid £14 for myself and the kids went free, plus I got an extra 500 points. It might be that 2 single trips at £28 then 1000 extra points is one of the best deals at the moment. (the £14 was for 2 weeks)"Dogs come when they are called. Cats take a message and get back to you" :j :j0
