Essential Travel has always been reasonable for us (thought have never had to cliam to find out what it is really like!). You also get around 5% cashback through Quidco

Looked at a few sites all coming out at around £27 for a bog standard 10 day break, but Insure & Go came in at only £13! and that wasn't their cheapest.

My partner and I are going to kefalonia for 2 weeks in september and i have done a quote for both of us with moneysupermarket.

flexicover direct, primary insurance, direct travel insurance among others are quoting from £13 for both of us - under £10 each! this seems incredibly cheap to me and the policies look as a good as any i've had before. i just wondered whether anyone had any good or bad experiences to report with any of these companies!

it seems a bit too good to be true

also as kefalonia is a greek island does it count as Greece when i enter destination? it wasn't listed separately.

The one thing I don't understand is how the Insurers know how long I've been abroad for?
I've been Snowboarding twice this year, the last time completely independent of any travel agents. :j
If I could afford to go again(sadly not) I would probably go over the 17 days allowed. I ought to be uninsured then but how can they know?
Better make it clear I have annual multi-trip insurance

They will ask for a copy of the travel agents invoice or airline tickets etc. If you book over the internet always keep copies of any email confirmations that you receive.
