Last year Egg had a special offer for Egg credit card holders (recommended at the time by Martin) of European Annual Family cover for £15, which I took up. This years renewal was double this at £30, but still a bargain compared to the cheapest providers in the updated article (and it includes up to 17 days winter sports cover). 0 0

For those looking for travel insurance for the elderly and medical conditions, i can recommend a company called Total Travel Insurance (https://www.totaltravelinsurance.co.uk) - we went on holiday to spain with a relative who is 73 and is in a wheelchair after suffering a stroke a few years ago, their quote was nearly £50 cheaper than anywhere else (and I tried about 6 companies!)
Certainly worth a call if you are struggling to find a good quote
 All the best

I've been Snowboarding twice this year, the last time completely independent of any travel agents. :j
If I could afford to go again(sadly not) I would probably go over the 17 days allowed. I ought to be uninsured then but how can they know?
Better make it clear I have annual multi-trip insurance
 travel documents are checked0

My husband and I spend up to 6 months in the US during the winter. Usually we do three months before Xmas, back for the festivities and then a further 3 months. Any advise please?

I've got that policy, which was a real steal. Did they contact you at the renewal date, or did you contact Egg?0

            Hi,
I'm going to France with my wife and son this year. My wife will be 30 weeks pregnant be the time we return (we're not flying) can anyone recommend a good deal because most of the ones I've looked at wouldn't cover her?
 Thanks.0

            Hi,
Sorry I should have looked further before posting. I am answering my own question. We have a joint A&L Premier Current Account. This covers you until the 8th week before due date - this is much later than the average, most are 26 to 28 weeks in.
Also my 1 year old son can be included FOC.
 Thanks.0
