Things improving ever so slightly, OH has work today local loans have been updated and interest added which is always annoying!!
Hopefully can afford to pay a bit more to dear old visa this month as its so near its death :D. Must then start to save toward the road which is in dire need of doing so we must try and find the money somehow. Things looking up a bit overall so must keep positive, hope everyone is doing ok.

Spring is nearly here, so it might help peeps feel better. Can you use a sheet of paper with squares on that are worth a certain amount and colour one in when you've saved that amount? I know Hypno did that and it helped.

Thanks lucielle that sounds like a good idea to keep me focussed, it will add to the already humungus paper trail that is known as the "office" IYKWIM :rotfl: but loving the idea:T

When I was doing the squares, I blu tacked it up on the wall, right by the list of incoming bits and bobs - it was much prettier than the list, it helped a lot!

Hi folks yep Im ok had a nasty bug and all of us seemed to be suffering one after the other IYKWIM. Hopefully one more trip to the docs today with DS1 and we should be sorted. Things not too bad but although DH has had some work and has some in the pipeline no money seems to be coming in so its been very short in that dept. Hopefully things will improve for us this week. Hope everyone is ok will try and catch up with you all this coming week.

I think kids are on the mend now (well they are arguing) so thats always a good sign of good health :rotfl:
Anyone noticed how the house insurance seems to be creeping up. I must shop around as its gone up from €381 to €521 annually and we havent made a claim!!! Thats one for my todo list tomorrow. Moneywise still a bit tight but at least a couple of bills have come in to OH so he's slightly happier and has enough for a game of darts tonight so that should cheer him up a bit.
Have car to tax at the end of month but have budgetted for that otherwise tight as usual but visa will have been overpaid, still not dead but dying slowly.
