Hi folks and welcome to my brand new diary. All new for me but hopefully this will help me focus on my ultimate goal of becoming DF.
A bit of background is we moved to Ireland almost 6 yrs ago, bought an old run down cottage in the middle of nowhere and have spent loads of time and money doing it up!!! Hate to put a figure to it. Anyway we have 3 children DD16 DS13 and DS7, love the rural life and are growing veggies etc. Have one mad sheepdog, one cat and 10 hens (who are not laying at the mo).
OH was let go from his job about 6 months ago and is trying desperately to get a new company off the ground. We get some help with this as earnings are still very low, so at least we get a weekly payment to stop us going under! Have a relatively small mortgae, two loans and a cc Im trying desperately to get rid of. Its a uk one so internet bank and costs me £2 each time!
Anyway Im hoping this diary will get me focussed, also trying to lose some weight which I see seems to be normal on these boards! Debt and Fat go together well.
Today done washing, walked the dog (need the exercise, me not the dog) had a big bowl of porridge and must go tend to the veggies next. Hope you will visit me time to time and keep me going.

Hi folks feels like afternoon already. OH woke up at some unearthly hour sneezing:eek:He's been getting the new premises sorted so the dust was killing him. He's gone off to do some more work on it and DS1 has been persuaded to go too, hope he's of some small help. DD has just got up and is off to her mates for tonight, and small man is just having a cuppa, in readiness for helping mum with the shopping!
Two loads of washing done, pouring today so its all hanging around! Must pay money into bank and pick up prescription for OH from doctors. Doggy not walked as its still persisting down so no exercise for me just yet.
Right must gather troops and get out of the house before I become glued to MSE.:rotfl:Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Loan 2 €29,590 now €0 as of 22/02/2016 Mgage €55000/ €23,639 at 01/02/18
