I wish I was some sort of gardener. Grew some rocket this spring was very pleased with the way it was growing, we tasted it and were very dissappointed. Was like grass It was the first 'success' ie plant that didn't die for a while. The only other green thing I can grow is mould on bread...sigh.

Hi DC must admit dont go for the lettuce things, far too healthy!!:rotfl: I grow the small cherry tomatoes as everyone likes them and they are good on hm pizza, yummy No wonder I cant lose weight:rotfl: You could try onions they are pretty easy and dont need much TLC

Mmm know what you mean. Wish my place was clutter free too, worst of all I am the worst culprit :rotfl:Got off to an early start, took DD to work went to early mass, came back got dinner ready porkie chops in the slow cooker, prepared the veg. Took DS1 for a walk with the doggy, legs are aching now (mine not the dogs). Made a sponge cake and am awaiting Mr Turfy whos gone off with DS2 looking at vans.
We must visit a neighbour whos had an op for breast cancer. Then have another friend and young baby coming over for dinner. Must also pick DD up from work and then hopefully sit down to a big glass of something nice.
Looking forward to my dinner its smelling lovely. Still raining here today folks sunny inbetween but it makes you cross, feels like winter!! Hope youre all having a good day.

Right then, to update dinner was yummy last night although had to make 5 pork chops stretch to 6 dinners !!! Had an extra one for tea, OH fell asleep before our friends left, Its embarrassing isn't it!:o
Today started ok washing in, but its got soaked already on the line, DS2 had first day at summercamp, so dispatched him off and am now about to organise some recycling stuff and have a general tidy round.
Not doing well with organising the dinners at the mo, not sure if it is because the kids are home and Im feeling generally lazy or what.
Need to take doggy for a walk and water veggies too, then decide on dinner tonight.
DF wise noticed a direc debit hasnt gone out this month, to a local building firm, meant to go out at the start of the month, not sure what will happen now, will they take two next month do you think? Anyway better sit tight on paying something of the cc.

Ah well should have taken my own advice and held off on the cc payment, I made the payment on that yesterday and youve guessed it the elusive dd went out this morning:eek: Im mad now, had to make a 30 mile round trip to the bank to pay in some money to make sure I dont go o/d.. Thats done so ok there now and have been on the phone to try and tie the company whos taking the dd out to a date, but yes they will have to call me back. Why oh Why do they make things complicated, I only want to budget! Need chocolate Hypno:rotfl:
Its raining again today, for a change!!!! so no washing on the line, and it looks like its not showers but in for the day.
OH is working late so dont have to think about dinner for him. Youngest at summercamp so only two teenagers home today. They dont look very productive, perhaps get some cleaning done!

I have done that before, but forgotten so yes I will do that today, thanks Lucielle for reminding me:T I have got one lot dry today before the shower and have another load ready so thats sorted! Had to laugh about your son and the wheelchair, were you trying to keep a straight face?;)
Well DF wise not much happening, the mortgage paid so all up to date for July Im paid up.
Little update on the glass;) It was noticed early this morning when he moved the signs. He was a little annoyed and said "thats what I get for resting the signs there". I do feel a lot guilty but will leave sleeping dogs lie me thinks. Easier all round and only you folks know it was me:o so will carry on regardless eh!
Have some mackerel in the freezer think we'll have that for tea, I loooovve mackerel. Still cant get sorted with the mealplans with the kids home and OH working lates. Still everythings ticking along which is all good.
