When a small but still cute marks n sparks finally arrived in my little corner of the world I was sooooo excited only for two things mainly 1. egg custard tarts and 2. their fruit trifle. I was very miffed to find they didn't do these wonderful items, but today all that changed :T I have arrived home with 4 egg custards and a large trifle to have tonight. Wonderful not very mse or diet friendly I know but you just gotta!!!:rotfl:
All uniforms got just books to get next, even got a pre pay voucher thingy which I will use for FIL b'day next week, a book from amazon me thinks and they will even wrap it for me, so thats something else sorted.
Had the leftover sausages for tea with that potato bake concotion Mr T loves and some garlic bread.;) Hope no one gets too close to me tomorrow, only the oil man arriving with some heating/hot water oil for the old boiler. Right off to have me trifle yum yum:T

Mr T's friend thought it would be a great idea to cut up loads of logs we have as a surprise for him when he gets back on Monday. Im aching now, spent 2 hours picking up and stacking a huge pile of logs. DS1 helped out too and DS2 just played around. Still we have about half of them done now:T Still cant light the stove since the sootfall and with the oil down no hot water. Anyway oil man has been and boiler still wont fire Aggghhh. I could really do with some hot water now! Im going to find one of his mates numbers and ask nicely if he could sort it for me. Had a chicken death this morning too, it never rains does it!
Took DD to work and we have footie training later, and one of DS mates wants some of my eggs to hatch some chicks, so hopefully he'll have some success. Have just watered all the veggies, off to clean out chucks and then put curry on for tea. Wow I'll sleep tonight.

Wow, I am tired just reading all that. Mmhhh and fancying curry for tea too now! THat'll have to be for tomorrow, pasta in my house tonight.

Wow weve had three days of summer now in a row! Today looks a little misty but hopefully will improve.
Had a great day yesterday took the kids down to Bantry looked around the market animals, antiques, odds n sods tons of stuff. Then we carried on around the coast stopped of at Skibereen and then on to rosscarberry had ice cream and the kids enjoyed the beach for a couple of hours. Not very MSE but we did take our drinks, crisps etc but the day was gorgeous and it seemed a shame not to take full advantage. I was pretty pooped by the time we got in and have had a lie in this morning.
More log moving today deep joy:rotfl:then I must take DD to work and am contemplating getting the school books, mm see how I feel after the log moving eh!
One more payment to visa today hooray its coming down nicely. :T

HI Shaun, thanks for joining me and my crazy world down here. Im welsh actually but have been here 7 yrs now and all the kids speak fluent Irish as we live in the Gaeltach. I can just about manage Slan and thankyou which I wont even try to spell!! Anyway nice to have you aboard.
Yesterday DS1 had a football championship final but they lost, which was such a shame as they have got to so many finals and lost at the final hurdle. He scored a great goal too. Anyway local hotel put food on for them all so we weren't home til half seven. DD worked yesterday and met us at the hotel.
We were going to finish off the logging today but its that horrible misty rain today so thats off the agenda. Glad really as Mr T is due home today:T and have to get sorted out, cleared up and get the dinner going. Have put a big pork joint in the slow cooker and have a loaf in the bm already so just the veggies to sort, which while Im thinking about it are still in the boot of the car!!
Checked visa today and if I can get another two payment off this month am ahead of snowballer, so thats great:j

my es started school last year
12 irish,6 eastern Europe.2 asia,4 middle east....
so she gave up with English after the first week as their levels are all different
and teaches in Irish...
which is great for the kids ,,,,not so good for the parents....:eek:
so now es uses 3 languages talking to me and i still dont understand him:rotfl:

:jMorning folks, havent posted for a couple of days, busy busy. Mr T back in the work frame of mind and off today to earn a few bucks. Had DD's bf here yesterday and the day was horrible misty rain all day. Made them all a lasagne and garlic bread followed by hm sponge cake. All happy then had to rescue a cat from under a hot bonnet ouch!! All ok and everyone happy, including cat.
Weather better today and online banking done, another payment received by barclaycard hooray! Its looking good just hope I can keep up the pace. Cant wait for 12 months to be up so I can see my sig change (thought I'd wait til then).
All logs in the shed and it looks like money stacked up IYKWIM as fire wood will be brilliant for the winter and save us loads, we have plenty of turf this year so no backbreaking turning to be done, may have to get some next year. Wait for the coal offer now next month and try to manage again with just the 10 bags and thats the fuel sorted for the winter. Have sorted the boiler (well Mr T did) first job back home and had to suck the oil pipe as it had an airlock!!! Yukkkkk:eek: Still thats done and have paid for half so the rest to find by the end of the month.
Today have to pick up prescription and may get the school books, and a top up shop. Have a good day everyone.
