Hello, Turfy. Wanted to say hello and let you know I am reading your diary - with envy for the lovely sounding veggies and the poly tunnel. Good luck!

Hi Wordsmith and thanks for reading, hope Im not boring the pants off you!

Had a good day shopping and never went over my €60 budget today which was brill, but probably wont last long either. Even had €13 change :T Had to get a christening gift and hate looking for them, wanted something a little different too. Anyway popped into the bookshop and picked up a lovely little book called "The bedtime story book" classic tales from childhood, Its only little and just perfect, so if your looking for something you could do a lot worse. Got that and just the basics really, picked up kids from summercamp 2 extra tonight! So Ive made the spagbol and enjoying a nice cuppa as my backs aching today.

Well I woke up feeling really rough this morning and now have a b****y cold. Got the paracetomol and been taking the hot lemon for drinks. Have some washing on the line from yesterday but its blowing a gale :mad:today and lashing rain so that will all need to be rewashed when Im feeling brave enough to go and get it in!
Have offered to pick up and drop off two neighbours children home after summercamp. Its mad dont have to go for my own today they are off to their mates, but Ive offered now as they have appts etc. So will brave the wind and rain a bit later on.
Tea tonight is going to be hm pizza and or chilli, made with whats leftover from the spagbol. Very exciting eh!!
Banking done and actually got asked to do a survey this morning, which I have done and am waiting to find out how many points i get. First one yippee:T Hope to get some more soon not sure what the rewards are vouchers me thinks, which will be good towards xmas!!
Hope you have a good day peeps. Sniff sniff (feeling sorry for myself)

get some echinacea into you can help to shorten the length of a cold by a day and if you take it when you feel a cold coming on it can stop it.

Hope you feeling better today Turfy. Must try and remember that tip Lucielle about the echinacea.

I know what you mean Turfy about getting a bit obsessed with figures as I am getting the same way, I am checking my bank and spreadsheets every single day now! LOL. But it helps to stop spending money on unnecessary things. Have a good weekend.
