Ooh forgot to add - debt and weight definitely go together (I've put 6lbs on since June ) As do debt and housework issues! :)

I think you might be right here - you should see the state of my house - well no, you shouldn't I would be embarrassed for anyone to call right now. :o And I need to get on a diet again too, but not today!

Hi folks you are so kind, thanks for your support. The big 50 OMG is March 2012 and my snowballer finishes in June 2013 so Im hoping to shave over 12 months off that figure!:T Well I can only hope and dream. (Ohoh what did I do to the text, quite nice though) Anyway the shopping went ok and I didn't overspend despite us being away the past two weeks and my cupboards were like old mother hubbards!! Picked up the prescription, called to the council office to complain re potholed road (thats normal here), did the bank and asked for some money bags hoping to fill some from my small change pot. Nothing like being optimistic you know. Picked up tablets for OH and chicken food for the girls, got two eggs today hooray, must be happier now.:T

Phones visa, makes me mad you cant understand these poor staff who answer their calls, probably get paid a pittance too:mad: (rant over), she assured me payment would be received by tomorrow and I wouldnt get a late charge! Watch this space, Im not so optimistic.

DS and DD delivered to their sleepover homes for tonight so just me and OH and dear youngest 7 yr old for tea. Put pizza dough in the BM so not very fat free but sure it will be yummy. Need to make more hobnobs Oh demolished them at lunchtime. They dont last long in this house.

Just enough time to give the bathroom and quick once over as ds2 has just had a bath. Tip for cradle cap is Vaseline Hair Tonic works like a dream, if anyone's interested of course!
Have a good evening everyone off to top a pizza now!

Hi folks hope all is well in DFW land. Today got off to a reasonable start, washing in and loaf in bm all early as OH was up and at em again, keen and eager to get his office/shop open asap. So all was going well until I logged on to find yippee visa had their money in time for no late charge, all good but then as I had made a larger payment of £205 they credited me £198:eek: I know there is normally a small charge for international stuff but eek £7!!! Anyway after long phone calls etc it seems this is an intermediary bank charge so thats that and Im still in the process of finding out what these are and at what amount you pay them!!:mad::mad::mad:

OH was coming home for dinns so I went to look out for him in our new add on conservatory which is not in real use yet (just for drying washing IYKWIM) leant on some signs he had in there and Ive created a huge crack in brand new window:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Cant bring myself to tell him god knows what a new piece of glass that size will cost. As the signs are for his business and are leaning there anyway do you think I will get away with acting surprised.OMG I couldnt believe it!! He came home for dinner and all ok as no-one will see it until he moves the signs. Feeling really bad now:cry: hope the day improves now, he's been working so hard and such long hours this is the last thing he needs.

Kids are ok and waiting for the other two to get back from their sleepovers. Dont know what to do for tea for them tonight might do spagbol. OH had a hot dinner lunchtime so he will only want a toastie tonight Just eaten two hobnobs as Im so mad with myself now.

Will call back later for some friendly messages. Hope youre having a better day than me. P.S its still persisting down here where is summer?

  • Hi Turfy

Just had a read of your diary for the first time. Good luck on getting there before your 50th. I think it's a great idea. I have 6 years until the big 50 and am going to join you in your quest. My DFB is about 8 1/2 years away though, so need to shave off 2 1/2 years!

I hope things work out well for your OH's new venture.

Maybe the day is getting better, the sun is finally shining and the lovely girls have laid 2 eggs today, hopefully enough this week to get some baking underway. We were away for two weeks so I take it they were having a bit of a sulk hence no eggs.;)
After the window incident had to have chocolate oops not good I know but it was essential and a four fingered kitkat bit the dust.:rotfl:Better luck with the diet tomorrow eh!!
Spent the past hour catching up on Hypno's diary, very energetic eh. |Must catch up now.

Welcome to the diaries. I too wouldn't mind losing a few pounds around my middle as well as more than a few from my debt:D

Mr debt free day will be just before I am 45, about 5 and a half years to go!
