Life isn't all rosey its your job as parent to teach them that and how to cope with it :) no parent likes seeing their babies upset but we just have to be strong for them

The best way to find out more is to get on there yourself and have a play around, its quite complicated at first but you get used to it

I'm sure if they are as you describe they will be happy to be open and show you there's nothing to worry about.
    They sound like wonderful girls!

I am just overprotective. They've been through enough, especially the older two who've lost 2 mothers, although to be honest, if either had stayed, they'd have turned out worse. Not me blowing my own trumpet, just appreciating that their mothers were very selfish and good for not alot.

I may take a look at it, but if I say yes, it's on the understanding I get to see what's she's up too.........maybe. Don't want to lose that trust.

They are wonderful girls. They have their moments, but so do I :D

This breast feeding is hard work.

It certainly is!! You forget how tiring it is in those first days. Yay for 7 hours sleep :T Benjamin used to do 6 hours at a time when he came home from hospital - he has changed over the weeks but is still a good little sleeper most of the time.
I look forward to when you have more to say then :D I hope....depends....:rotfl:

LOL!! I think you are doing a fantastic job but your posts do seem a bit angst-ridden :o I am on Samis side of parenting and often I think the best advice is just to chill out a bit :D
Morning all - nice and early here today, letting daddy have a lie in!

Oh remember now - Time travellers wife - I love this book, read it on honeymoon, blubbed so much gave it to hubby to read who also enjoyed it, which is a bonus for me as he normally loves hardcore sci fi. Think the film looks a bit cheesey though?

    Have great sundays all.

Isn't daddy supposed to let you have a lie in ;)

OMG I remember really blubbing at the end of the book now! Really, really sobbing - it took me a fair few nights to read the end of it because I kept breaking down (damn these new mummy hormones ;))

I am miles from catching up!!

Hope you are okay now Fritha.

Have you looked at nappy moneysaving on the main bit of the site?
some peeps say lid/aldi (not sure which) are good I used tesco own newborn ones on Chris and had no problems but as he's got bigger he has had allergic reactions to allsorts so I stick to just pampers baby dry and easy ups.

Well, I suppose it's more the fear rather than the actual, as I know they are good eggs really and I believe they won't make any big errors, although things happen in life.

I think my bad childhood & the two mothers leaving, has had an effect. I'm alot calmer with them, than when talking about them, if you see what I mean and incredibly soft in reality. Maybe being on here isn't such a great idea after all, as it makes me spill out all my fears

Anyway, cookies need to be made, or i'm mincemeat. :o

Do you thinkyou have food poisoning? sounds bad you poor thing, Hope you're feeling better for 2mo!

I should be fine, essentially I had a bacon sandwich in the morning at Ikea. I don't normally eat stuff like that so I think my body ejected it! I then made the stupid mistake of having my medicine on an empty tummy before I went to bed and it made a return journey! Never has the phrase "I think I'm a bit ill" (as Himself surveyed the scene of devistation in the bathroom) been more of an understatement for me!

I'm feeling a heck of a lot better now though, I'm drinking lots, slowly and am about to attempt eating something!

You'd be proud of me MFD though, I had to feed Celia lying down all last night or I would have passed out, and my back isn't broken! I don't think I'll make a habit of it (it's a bit uncomfortable for me) but it's good to know I can actually do it and not break anything!
Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!

Tescos own brand are as good as the top makes, we are on a bit of a pampers kick at the moment because we have had some vouchers and there have been some good offers but when we need own brand ones we use the active baby ones (cant remember if they are the green or the purple)
never had any problems with them
