Tia Wow she has a name. Sorry to hear your fed up it does get a bit boring. I was in over xmas so there was a bit of banter and the rules were slightly relaxed re visiting etc so it was better and I didn't get so bored.
Hope your both well soon and get home (((((hugs))))

  • Morning all ... no time to catch up here, but we had a good time visiting my Granny in Sataffs. She is a lot better, but not well enough to go home, so looks like she will be in a home for a few weeks while she gets her confidence back up. She perked up lots seeing Izzy too (and so did all the other ladies in the ward!) so that was good.

Slept through last night too. I think that was to do with me giving her snacky things in the car on the way home after tea, so will try and get her to have some supper tonight and see if we can get a repeat performance. Could definitely do with it.

Have been having a big look at the bank statement after seeing the balance (I set up a spreadsheet and everything!!!) and have just worked out DH has taken out £300 in cash since his payday, and £380 since mine... some of it was for the bus, but only £50 max, and I MAY have taken out £10 at some point to pay for parking (I'm pretty sure I haven't, but it is possible). Will have to confiscate his cash card I think!

    My daughter's a gremlin :(

She's wiiiiiiiide awake between midnight and 6am, and although she is only a week old she is very alert and active and already making (some) progress when she tries to crawl. Last night she'd finished feeding and was lying on my chest being winded, and she managed to crawl up my chest, inserting tiny feet into C-section wound along the way. I jumped miles in the air, she started wailing from my shock, and that was it for two hours. Constant screeching.

Oooh the zoo (I wonder how far you are from me then)

I really want to have a trip to the zoo, but dh isn't that keen on it. We can only afford to do one trip out somewhere before the kids go back and are struggling to agree on something. Might just end up going to the rake Hall Pub for dinner one day...the kids love it there:D

And me! I've been searching for money off vouchers for the zoo, can only find one for a free child with two adults. Its sooo expensive!

Just had to google the Rake Hall pub - i've never heard of it. It looks good!

Quick question. Was thinking of going to the clinic and for a coffee with my friend. I think I can manage going out today. She text me to let me know that one of her babes has a bad cough. Should I avoid going?

We gave Caitlyn a bottle of formula last night before bed last night. DH thinks it means she will cry less. Actually she is good at night, we had a bad day with her being unsettled most of the day yesterday. Anyway I'd BF her then DH gave her the bottle. I said she'd probably not take much, but she actually had 3oz so that pleased him  Then she fell asleep and he said 'what do we say to mummy? I told you so' The look I gave him could have struck him down there and then, so he said 'we want you to have both'. I've told him that I am NOT stopping BF and I am ok with ONE bottle of formula. Then she woke up so I just smiled. oh, and get this, he said 'well she doesn't get 4oz off you does she?' I said 'she gets enough, you don't know how much she's getting.' He said 'well you didn't express much the other day' so I informed him that babies are a better pump than a plastic one. When I read this back it makes him sound like a right to$$er!

Caitlyn is now fast asleep after having boobie at night and this morning. Going to take her to be weighed tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be proved right!
I have to agree there he does sound like one of those :o
If my OH ever said I told you so I would slap him without a moments thought :o:p

hmm i could have sworn I clicked to quote 3 people...
Tia yey for naming her! but boo for sore boobs, metal pump sounds scary!!!

:shhh: don't tell him bu Chris's Choccy milk this morning had 4oz boobie milk in it ;) I'm hoping that he will benfit from it seeing as he missed out on it after less than 2 weeks

that's the only offer I've ever found for the zoo, they're tight gits!

I think the benefit out weighs the risk, It'll be good for you n toby to get out n about. you can always sit outside in fresh air if the weather is good enough so the germys are less likely to spread xx
