Skinty - don't be afraid to ask the HV to help you with your positioning when laying down...or if you can make it to a local Booby Club all the better - need to start making those new-mummy friends :D

I did a demo of feeding laying down at Booby Club once for a lady whose baby was 3 days old - bless her!
Poor Benjamin thought that because we were laying down that he needed to go to sleep and nodded off on the floor :smileyhea

I was about to say but you can't feed lying down at a boobie group and then you demonstrated that you could! Although it would be a laugh at mine, several million women with various size babies crammed into a titchy room!

Hope you feel better soon btw mfd :-)
I remember having to bin a vest (my fave one) as I had to cut it off her it was that bad:eek:

I actually shuddered when I read that!

    oh ladies
Thanks for the tips earlier but I wasn't asking for them :o:p:)
We tried mummy milk and have been bathing with salt water for weeks but it seems he's got an actual infection not just your average sticky eye.
Tara I looked at the swab and its to test for aerobes and anaerobes :)

Slightly embarrassing today I had to tell the GP that we hadn't had sex, otherwise I couldn't have a new coil unless I have a period (which could be ages due to BFing) :p
she said the need to know that you're not pregnant before they put one in which is partly why they usually put them in while you're on your period.
    so now you know

OK from what I can vaguely remember -
Alex has had sticky eye too - I used used cooled boiled water - it clears eventually :)
Poo on clothes... I have only one thing to say to this: NAPPYSAN!!!!!

Actually I can remember much, brain fried...

Been to Aqua arobics - was good - hard work but good! Already booked again for next week :)
Need to go to my allotment this weekend as the weeds have taken over one of my plots (whoooops... so much for leading by example as a committee member :rotfl: ) and Alexandras godparents are coming to visit so might even drag them down to help out ;) Shhh don't tell them that though ;)
We have had a weird couple of days - madam has had some serious screaming sessions and took ages to settle yesterday, again some unsettled times today but according to hubby went down nicely after her bottle whilst I was at the gym... must just be me then LOL
Managed to take a corking picture of the little terror: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=8272757&l=8a358c2259&id=740875462

And hubby won $155 on poker last night so has bought himself a new watch/dive computer that he's been lusting after.

The cat is doing well... his calcium levels are coming down but we've run the big test anyway - both my mate (the vet) and I reacon he's eaten a poisoned mouse but we want to rule out anything more sinister in case his calcium levels shoot up again!

    Uhmmmm anything else...

Oh yeah - weather permitting we're off to a teddybears picnic tomorrow :)

And I'm knackered and about to head to bed!

Now 9 times out of 10 this conversation wouldnt bother me, but it was a locum, he wasnt much older than me and my god I wouldnt have said no !! :)
