I'm here, just catching up as you lot chat too much whilst I'm at work!!

DD is off the the zoo tomorrow with the grandparents so have to go Mr T's to get bits for her picnic lunch.

DH has been off shift the last 2 days and DD has not had her afternoon nap either day - made for very grumpy tea times but very early bed times.

No advice re the pooing - when DD was first learning I sat with whilst she was on the potty and held her hand.

Skinty - it took me months to be brave enough to feed lying down - I had a section though so lying on my side was sore for a while, they did try to show me in hospital but it just hurt too much. It's the only way we feed now as she only feeds morning and night, it a really nice position for cuddles and kisses.

If you don't think the thrus treatment is working go back and ask for something else.

Re farms - I do both I'm still trying to decide which one I prefer.

you feeling better MFD? my massage was lovely this afternoon :) And then I went and treated myself to the 3 tops for £12 in Dorothy Perkins to cheer myself upa bit as none of my tops look that great on me at the minute. Need to hide the muffin top !!

I tried to get some tops that don't cling yesterday, bad idea going shopping. Have ordered some from Next today, internet shopping is much easier! :o
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • Skinty - don't be afraid to ask the HV to help you with your positioning when laying down...or if you can make it to a local Booby Club all the better - need to start making those new-mummy friends :D

I did a demo of feeding laying down at Booby Club once for a lady whose baby was 3 days old - bless her!
Poor Benjamin thought that because we were laying down that he needed to go to sleep and nodded off on the floor :smileyhea

Izzy did the exact same thing when she had her first injections. well... it was 2 days later after I'd dropped her on her head & had to take her to a&e - she was grumpy for a few days, and I wasn't sure which thing was the problem, but I gave her some calpol to help her feel better and she brought it all back up (and loads more) all over my lovely hand wash only scarf. That was her revenge on me for being clumsy :o.

Mind you, my friends daughter was sick loads after the second (I think) jabs, so maybe it is just one of the side effects?

I'm joining in on the tiredness - I've had a daytime nap for the first time since we brought Rhys home (three weeks)! And I actually slept much better last night too.. odd

Was half-watching Emeerdale earlier (when I fell asleep so 'nuff said!), and Nicola had one of those push button things in her hand whilst being monitored in early prem labour... I had one of those but had completely forgotten about it until now!

Rhys has had his wide awake few hours and we videoed him in case the physios can't get him to do anything on Friday. He keeps lifting his hips/bum and legs clear off the floor when lying on his front, then flips one leg higher and tips over.. Not sure if that's the proper way but it works for him! :o

Brickwork is finished and window ordered. Might be Friday or might be Monday when we get the window.. Roll on the end of next week!

Hello all, I'm tired tonight too. DH has eventually made a start on decorating the living room after staring at newly plastered walls for 5 whole weeks!.

He was shamed into eventually starting after we visited one of our friends (who is due in a week! Me, broody?! ;)) who have the most gorgeous house ever. I can't wait for it all to be finished but I just wish I new more about DIY to hurry things along (I'm ashamed to say that I have never even changed a lightbulb in my 35 years!).

Poor man probably wished he hadn't booked a weeks holiday :rotfl:but we are going HERE tomorrow for a family day out. Fingers crossed the rain stays away.

MFD, I hope you feel better soon **hugs**.

Re the song thing, it would irk me but I think alot of things now are aimed at showing emotions. Poppy's BookStart pack included a title called 'How do you feel?' so maybe this has something to do with it?. Anyway, many nursery rhymes are horrid - have you listened to 'Oranges and Lemons' lately?!.

Hope everyone else is well. I had a quick speed read this afternoon but I wasn't logged in to comment :o. Lots of hugs to those in need.

    xx
