Well, I'm going to say it again, you're not going to lose LO. If you need their services, PLEASE don't be afraid to ask for them again.
If it were just 'normal' depression, I'd agree, but its a bit more complicated and I don't want to risk it.
i think things are getting better though.
There isn't much they can do if I don't want medication.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Thanks for your replies re kids camps:)
It is actually PGL I was thinking, and in my mind I was thinking Ds1 could maybe do one of their short stays (3nts) next summer? He will be 9 (nearly 10) but I always feel guilty if I consider one of the boys doing something and not the other:o...but you have all only backed up what I was feeling anyway, that ds2 would be too young.......
My Grumpy boy is also in bed, although if the last couple of night are anything to go by - midnight will be the starting point of him waking constantly:rolleyes:

Mel, there is 17 months between me and my younger sister. There were very few things I was allowed to do and my sister wasn't and it caused a lot of resentment from me and smugness from her - call it immature but we were about 8 at the time! (PGL was a school organised thing for all Y6s so she got her turn the following year).
We don't intend to have babies close together, but we always said that if that's the way things happened we would always treat them differently and have a clear distinction between them and what they were allowed to do. You can always treat your younger one to something else at the same time, just not the same thing iyswim else it loses the "special-ness" for the older one0 -

Would you ever send your children away on an adventure holiday/summer camp?
They did cub camps before the age of 11, but not for more than a weekend, as far as I remember.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
