Took my lot to the library and they joined up to a summer reading quest thingy where they get stickers for reading books in the school hols.

Just been back to the library to collect "Nellie", a blue elephant who got left behind. Pleased Charlotte realised before the library closed as it's only part time, so she wouldn't have got him back until Wednesday afternoon.
Here I go again on my own....

Right, I'm on a mission to make myself a Yummy Mummy tonight.. I'm visiting yummy, more experienced, mummy friends tomorrow to need to look half decent!

Haven't straighten my hair properly since before I had Rhys and I desperately need a shower - did I mention Rhys managed to wee all over me and himself (inc in his eye!) but miss the nurse completely whilst being weighed earlier?

This is going to either work or seriously upset me when I realise nothing fits.. Wish me luck! :)

elle, I had to buy a new pair of trousers, my jeans all fit and so do my PJs :D so no need to worry most of the time :rotfl:
I could get the trousers on, but I had 2 tummies :eek:

You will look beautiful, and if they are more experianced mummies and you go out with baby sick on you, they will know how you feel :D

Good luck Elle - I need to do a similar cat-walk for baby session and try and find something that fits for my interview on Friday. Am going to a wedding in the afternoon too, so I may even manage to find an outfit that will be suitable for both if I'm really lucky (mind you it will get covered in baby food at lunchtime, so that bit probably doesn't matter too much!)

I'm torn between wanting to loose a bit more weight, and wanting to work out what sorts of things will fit/suit my new shape. I don't want to spend money on more clothes if they aren't going to fit for long, but I'm fed up of feeling fat and unattractive, when the real problem is that none of my clothes fit/suit me and I've not washed my hair for a week ;)

Just a quick question to those of you with older kiddies(7yrs+) Or to anyone else who might like to add their thoughts:)

Would you ever send your children away on an adventure holiday/summer camp?

Would depend mel. Jasmine is nearly 7 and I dont think she is responsible enough to go away to a summer camp, although I was 7 when I went on my firs residential with the orchestra !!
I think every child is different, but personally 7 is too young, I think they should be over 10 before it should be considered

    KIT day? :)

Can you escape for lunch, as in drive off site? If it were me, I'd drive to somewhere random or kick someone out of there office for a while ;) Don't forget the coolbag and freezer blocks to transport it :)

ETA: Says the one who expressed at 80mph on the M1.. I wasn't the one driving, needless to say ;)

Yup - kinda got hoiked into it

Well my grumpy boy is fast asleep in bed...lets just hope he stays there!!

The anbesol seemed to make a difference, definitely better than the silly teething gels which, lets face it, generally end up as a blob in babes mouth so that they get a numb tongue with little change to the bit in pain!!
