  • Mel - Benjamin has managed 2 half-hour naps since 8am! Until hubby said he would take Benjamin out in the pushchair so I can do some work...so I thought I would try and give him a feed before they leave - he fed from me without any fuss and fell fast asleep

I think we may be having teething problems as well, jasmines only taking half her usual feeds at the mo! hope she picks up soon!

I joined that bizzybaby a few weeks ago and they are sending me a toy fire engine!! its the first thing ive got, am assuming its for jake?

:( We haven't had anything from Bizzie Baby and it was me that asked SB for the link in the first place!

    Woe is me :(
MFD - have you tried an amber teething necklace at all?

Nope...and to be honest I am not sure I want to :o partially because I worry that Benjamin will hurt himself and partially because I don't want my boy wearing jewellery :o

(((Hugs))) MFD, Sounds as if I have the baby girl version of what your describing! Not much is working here either well for long periods anyway! Do you have a teething blanket? You can get them from boots, if not a muslin works just as well! Babe just finds it a bit easier to chew on than teethers and fingers and fists!

Caz how are you doing? :)

A teething blanket...never heard of them - will have a look.

Actually, you may be on to something there.....The only thing Kai has enjoyed/tolerated chewing on is his sock, which he pulled off twice to chew on. I ended up just leaving him chewing on it and put another pair on his feet haha.

I have just lay him on the mat on the floor and have given him his sock back again, he seems 'appy as larry!'

Oh yes, that's what I was doing.. Was looking on Amazon at reviews but got distracted

    Thanks for the measuring :)

Think I'll see what they've got in Boots - have got a giftcard for there :) The 50ml limit is now redundant - Rhys will be on 60ml feeds now!

Speaking of feeds, I hear the start of "feed me!" grumbles.. TTFN!

ETA: Oh, have found these - hadn't thought about it until now, but 100ml would be best as the powders we mix in are 1/2 scoops per 100ml of EBM :) They do do them in 50ml tho' too.

Baby modelling - I came second in Miss pears as a child and they said I would of won but I lost my front teeth by the final! The newspaper cutting has been prouddly displayed in a frame on the toilet wall at my mums house for years!! I also did alot of modelling for photographic libraries and can distinctly remember being a mermaid and having to sit for ages in a big sea shell!! I also did a british gas advert where I had to lie by a roaring gas fire!

My mum was a famous model back in the day so she knew the business inside out. It didnt do me any harm although I did have my eyebrows plucked by some mean make up artist! Cant say I made huge amounts of money but I did enjoy the attention and always felt very special.

I wouldnt have any problems with Leila modelling as a baby/child but I dont think I would actively sign her up for it. You do need to be pretty dedicated and have the time to do it which I dont because of going back to work early.

(Goes off to Google Miss Pears to see if its still running)
Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j
