Susan with chris I was overdue a hair wash too. As soon as they said come in to the ward I 'hopped' in the shower lol
:rotfl: I told OH at 9pm that I wanted to go to hospital "now" and we didn't set off till 10. If I'd asked him to wash my hair it might have been another hour.

OH just brought Alice through for her bedtime feed. She's supposed to be in her pyjamas but for some reason she is wearing a party dress and a wooly hat.

Sorry Fritha - I can't count to 3 so I deleted you post that I was going to quote!!

Was lovely to meet you! I am happy for you to post pics (although I have a niggling feeling that the one of Me and B will be of my usual poor quality

    Ooh -you beat me!

It was a lovely afternoon - Celia, Christopher, Edgar and Benjamin confirmed that we MSE ladies do make the most gorgeous babies! :D
My big girl was very impressed with Sami's Christopher too - so much, she wanted to go home with them instead of us. He's so cute!

And, despite all of our worries - we're all quite normal! None of us is secretely a builder called Dave. :rotfl:

I don't mind you posting the pic's - we might even get a pic in the Warrington Guardian! :D

We did have the best looking kids there didn't we ;)
Liv and Violet are a credit to you - what lovely girls you have....absolutely beautiful and Liv was just adorable with Christopher!

Well I'm home too - have been for about half hour but you kno kids :)
we are all lovely and normal aren't we! :D I don't mind my photo being in the group or on anyone's normal Fb
I wish I'd nabbed more of those boobie cakes, had mine on the way home and it was yum.
Popped into next before I went home it wasn't very good but I got a few things, I wanted some jeans but got bored of checking labels and gave up :p

I was home last!! But then I do live 40 or 50 miles further away than the rest of you ;)
We went to the pub when I got home :D chatting to Cass (the Aussie girl I knew) today revealed a few interesting things that I needed to think about and I do my best thinking with a pint in my hand :p

...her husband is tendering for my job  I had an inkling that he might be but Cass confirmed it for me today - tough competition!

Am not too chuffed with OH. He's come home from work moaning that he's tired because Rhys kept him awake last night. Apparently he was screaming for a while every hour but I didn't wake up - I don't believe he was actually proper crying, probably just muttering which I'm used to from sleeping in the same room as him in the hospital. OH told me I'm "probably lacking in maternal instinct" and that's why I didn't wake up.. Gee, thanks for that! :(

I think everyones OH has said something stupid at some point...or we say stupid things to them...having a baby is stressful :o
I think we should send Krystal round :rotfl:

Pinkpig and Sparkle and Lu - what gorgeous children you have :A

Edit: Sami - the Superman Romper was from Asda!

Proud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14oz
A new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 2012
  • Krystal - Benjamin has been quite sick today (started before he had his injections so I don't think it was that) and has brought back milk every time I fed him, which is not like him at all.

Hubby gave him a bottle of EBM tonight and he was fine...do you think it might be something in my milk affecting him? If so, do I need to pump and dump or will it fix itself overnight??

MFD - Roo has days like that - she'll be fine with EBM but if I stick her on the boob it's like she can't control how much she's eating and has too much - cue burp and then sick... usually all down me ;)
I love her I love her I love her :rotfl: (ps she did it to me today whilst I was out at my mates lol... bless her)

Grr.. went out to Tesco (bought kitchen roll, fruit juice, lemonade and wine - odd combo!), then to get petrol then to hospital. When I got back I found Rhys lying on OH's chest, OH fast asleep, Rhys slipping into the gap between OH and the back of the sofa and wittering right in OH's ear.. and, I repeat, OH fast asleep! Took Rhys off him, he rolled over and is still asleep.. Words will be had later.

ETA: The wine is chilling in the fridge as we type.. ;)

Not that i'm judging or anything - but MFD in the Pub AGAIN!

Thank you for your comments on my daughters (daughters still sounds strange!) - but don't be fooled by Liv's cuteness - she can be an absolute horror-bag when she wants. I'm still amazed at how long/tall Benjamin is (Or is Violet a short ar5e!)

And don't worry about your pics - i'm bound to look worse! I always look asleep or pi55ed in pics. I am officially the least photogenic person on earth.

Was it a case of his mouth saying words before he'd processed them in his brain! Bloody men - i'm sure you'd feel better if you gave him a little slap around the back of the head!

Krystal - Benjamin has been quite sick today (started before he had his injections so I don't think it was that) and has brought back milk every time I fed him, which is not like him at all.

I got thinking earlier after Mum commenting that Violet is a very sicky baby, and my other two weren't. I think she must bring up about a third of each feed - and always had. She's still putting on weight (lots) so I don't think i'm worried, but should I be?

On a downer - i've been trying to figure out what's happened with my hijacked email account today, and set up some virus scans. I've found some stuff that I wish I hadn't! OH will be home from work in about 10 minutes and i'm not sure whether to throw the lap top at him, or wait and think about it for a few days.
(My gut feeling is to drink Jack Daniels and then throw the lap top at him - but that's not sensible).

3 are we talking videos/pictures or. Comunications? If the latter then punish him bit not the laptop- that's expensive. If the former I personally wouldn't be bothered...

Oh and MFD I meant to tell you your hair is a lovely colour :)

From what I've read, sleeping with babies should only be done by Mummies, we are the only ones who are alert enough and aware of their babies.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.
