Lu, love the piccies :) Your birth story sounds dramatic, but I'm glad you're settling down into it now.

Went well registering for the job agency this morning - was one I've used before, and they were all very positive - said I'm earning far less than I should be, and sounded like they are going to try and sell me a bit, rather than just sending me to any interviews which come up, which is nice. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks I'm worth more, lets just see if I can get it!

Oh, and I think I'm going to have to graduate to some bigger pots to feed baby with - we're still using the little tomee tippee ones that hold about 100 ml. I either need to get bigger pots, or start giving her a starter as well as a main and a pudding, as she is having a whole pot of savoury and a whole pot of sweet for every meal. If she hasn't put weight on by Thursday then I think I might cry ;)

I have to increase amounts too - but teething has put her off actually eating anything other than having a good chew on the spoon...

Glad the picnic went well - I want to come next time :D:p

  • Hi all.
I'm a bit of a lurker on here :o but you all seem like a lovely bunch so thought i'd ask you all for a bit of advice....I have a 2 and a half year old who up until about 2months ago was a very sweet little boy, but recently he's become a total monster  I know this is probably just terrible 2's but i'm really struggling to cope with him at the minute! He's just become so naughty, he won't listen to a word i say ( even tho he understands completely) he just chooses to ignore me. It's a major battle anytime we go somewhere as he won't go in his pushchair and insists on walking everywhere but then tries to run off whenever we go out. He throws tantrums over the smallest things and hates the word "no"!! I kno this probs sounds really daft but i'm really getting to the end of my tether with him :( i just don't know how to cope with him anymore. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to deal with this kind of behaviour?? I just want my sweet little boy back!! x

  • yeah he maybe would actually, i think with the reins he feels a bit babyish in them so maybe the backpack would make him feel more grown up. Thanks for the book link i'm going to order one later on, i need to try something before i crack up! x
