Have you tried offering him the choice? Sometimes they act up because they don't like feeling out of control, you could maybe try 'Do you want to go in the pushchair or wear the reins?' so he feels a little more in control...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I've stumbled across a rare breed.. a FRIENDLY doctors' receptionist!!
I think she got so fed up of me calling that she made it her mission to find out the answer for meThey'll prescribe everything but his injection which is what we thought we'd have issues with. We thought it would be down to cost but they're actually saying it's because it's not licensed  Doesn't surprise me with the consultants in our hospital - they were rather "progressive" with all the treatments they gave Rhys
No great shakes as there is a six week supply waiting for me to collect from the hospital now - going to go after a cuppa. Hospital will prescribe/fund it in the future (if he still needs it in six weeks).
Nurse weighed Rhys and he's only put on an ounce and a half - now 5lb 6.5oz. I thought he'd weigh a lot more than that, but we figured it might be because he's using a lot more energy actually putting the effort into feeding
Am not too chuffed with OH. He's come home from work moaning that he's tired because Rhys kept him awake last night. Apparently he was screaming for a while every hour but I didn't wake up - I don't believe he was actually proper crying, probably just muttering which I'm used to from sleeping in the same room as him in the hospital. OH told me I'm "probably lacking in maternal instinct" and that's why I didn't wake up.. Gee, thanks for that!0 -
Did you punch him in the gob for lacking in keeping his stoopid opinions to himself instinct? Want me to?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Aww Elle, that wasn't a nice thing to say. LO used to wake OH up too - as we were apart for the first few weeks of his life, I got used to his nightly noises sooner than OH did. It is amazing how chatty they can be in thier sleep. I hope you know that what he said isn't true.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

It depends where we are going really if its just up the road i'll give him the choice but if its in to town its quite a long walk so just tend to put him in his pushchair as he gets tired easily and can't manage the walk there and back. I love them monkey backpacks, they are so cutex

(((hugs)) Elle. OHs can really say the most hurtful things without realising it. My hubby has said 'she's still hungry, give her formula shes obviously not getting what she needs from you' and when she woke the other night ' shes crying because you havent got her into a routine'.
I think we are just extra sensitive about being 'bad' mummys.
Glad fun was had by all at the picnic xxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
He knows I feel guilty and !!!!!! about Rhys being born early due my stupid body not being able to get it right.. don't need telling I'm crap now he's here too!
Now he's feeding Rhys and putting on stupid voices and saying things like "I love my mummy", "My mummy is ace" and "My mummy is beautiful"... :cool:0
