Fair enough, but perhaps you shouldn't have used quotation marks - this implies that you were quoting me, which is incorrect.

My earlier post (not my very first by the way), stated that:

Perhaps I should've been clearer, but that passage doesn't mention anything about following up on withdrawn cancellations, it only asks why there are still demands to cancel after the charges have been withdrawn. As I have since made abundantly clear, the two are very seperate issues in my eyes and should be treated as such. Yes, I was telling people that I have only experiences polite and helpful customer service from Orange, as I think that people who have good experiences with companies should be equally as vocal as those who have had bad. All companies are interested in customer satisfaction in relation to retaining customers. Many Orange CS advisors were obviously instructed to do all they could to retain customers - some clearly took it upon themselves to give the impression that they understood legal terminology and used that to try and baffle customers into submission. I don't agree with this of course, but I'm not about to waste hours of my time bemoaning it. I missed the boat, I'm on a great, cheap deal, I've experienced good customer services. There.

I appreciate your view and do agree if you like the company then please feel free but this forum is about Orange price change.

If they took it upon themselves then it leaves them personally responsible. Nobody is allowed to deny you your consumer right.

Ofcom could rule this way sure. Ofcom could do nothing. But still there exists the issue of my consumer rights which then I will be following this up using CISA. Failing that the individuals who denied me my consumer right.

Now they have widthdrawn the changes. The people who agreed to the new contract - I wonder if they are affected. Thus making there contract viably to get out of - which we have seen a few cases here of. Which makes me think they can.

But if you wish to boost about Orange. Please do that in the 'I love Orange fan club page'.

Are you an employee of Orange evilsheep? Or have a family member who is?
  • Jeeze, just opened the rest of my mail and there's a second letter from Orange with another (different to the first) PAC for my mobile. Which PAC should I use???

That I'm not sure on, it shouldn't be possible to have two valid PAC codes for the same numbers so presumably one will work and one will not. I think you'll have to ring them for clarification.

I will too. They mayswell have wrote I heart orange.

I'm tempted to say 'would you like ketchup with that?' but then I'd be descending to your levels. Do you usually treat differences of opinion in such a flippant manner? If you click on my username, you can check my previous posts, and then it should be clear that I don't work for Orange (e.g. my postings on the 'Orange Retentions' thread). I'm a musician if you must know, and a teacher. Obviously, you won't check this and then repost with an apology because you're unable to appreciate differences of opinion.

Yip, that's what I thought. Was hoping I'd never have to phone Orange CS again.

You must appreciate that most on this thread after all this do not trust Orange as a company.

    Hiya,
I'm waiting on my pac too - how long did it take everyones to arrive?? I rang up last thurs/fri i think...too scared to call them & check incase they tell me i cant cancel anymore :(
They agreed to cancel my contract on Tuesday morning, sorry I can remember what time it was but between 9 and 11 am I think. Got the pac today, they told me if I didn't receive it in three days I could phone and they would text it to me. Good luck with yours.

Just checked and I posted at 9.49 am that I had just got it cancelled.

Evilsheep - Are you a stakeholder with Orange? Beyond that of just being a customer.

And this excuses such flippant dismissals of my opinion does it? I'm sorry for those who have had bad experiences with Orange, but I'm not one of them (and there are many thousands like me no doubt). For the benefit of a balanced viewpoint, I posted my opinions here. This is an open forum, and there are no 'only post here if you share our opinion' style threads. Good luck with pursuing the Communications Act 2003. Personally I'd think your time would be better served on other things (didn't you say you had exams?), such as assisting those who were sent PAC codes and then had their cancellation revoked. This is a genuine violation of rights in my eyes.
