Seems the people on here who are throwing the greedy accusations have some kind of personal ties to Orange, else i cannot see a reason for them to come here and moan0

Will take all day to reread all the 58 pages of this thread so will post this link and hope it helps some others...

I rang up yesterday and PAC on the way.... just got to find a good replacement now!0 -
Blo*dy cheek, at the end of the call after telling me they won't cancel, I said 'fine I'm contacting Ofcom' to which he responds "Good luck with that, I know where you're coming from".0

This will echo other people's responses no doubt but just wanted to let you know about my experience.
Just had a call back from a customer service manager who said that as the new changes have not been to my detriment so far, Orange do not believe I have a right to cancel the contract because of a breach of contract.
I asked if this was the final word from Orange and he said it was, and that my only option was to consider contacting Ofcom.
They did offer me a paltry amount (with the proviso that I wouldn't take this any further) but it wasn't an amount worth considering.
I personally reckon Ofcom will agree with Orange and not allow people to cancel their contract unless the new charges have been to their detriment.
Here's hoping Martin Lewis raises the profile of this! :money:0 -
Tried calling and was told I don't go over my mins each month so it wouldn't affect me! Told him that it will do in the future if I do! Told him if I was to use all my mins up this month then call back. Then I would have gone over the minutes and by their "rule" (which they've made up) qualify. He said I would if it had generated a bill.
Is this worth a go, using all my remaining mins and then call back?0 -

Then if they want any money off me they have to ask and i have to know what its for, anyone got advice regarding this ?0 -
Please voice your concerns to Ofcom if they've refused to cancel your contract

hi guys, i've had several customers who have been refused. i told them to speak to ofcom and call back saying they'd done so and they've been able to cancel. might be worth a go for some of you who are struggling.
It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt
