Me too, even if it's busiest on the "Busy Days" Guide.

The holiday hasn't started properly until I've walked to the right under the station and got my first glimpse of the castle :)

However others (more sensible than me and disney_cjd ;) ) may just prefer to go to the park that is predicted to be least busy for that day.

i wholeheartedly agree! i could live in mk im just waiting for my appartment to be built in the castle!!! i can live happily ever after then. i could watch the parades over and over and never be bored!!

A tip for magic kingdom, they have water fountains everywhere so keep an empty drinks bottle and fill upat one of these. At 3 dollars nearly for a bottle of water it adds up!! .

If you don't mind the metallic tasting water then the water fountains are great, otherwise you can buy bottled water much cheaper at WalMart/CVS/Walgreens/Publix/Target etc and take it with you to the parks.

A tip noted from another disney board is that you can apparently get these "sachets" of powder that are flavourings for water, and you can get mini ones tat are the right size for a small bottle. I have seen these powders before in the states but only ever bought the 2 litre ones - useful for the parks where the water isnt so nice.

Does anyone know where we could get these from in Florida, dothey sell them in publix or wallgreens does anyone know?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

yeah they are in wallgreens and also in the petrol stations. Didnt get to try them as i have kidney problems so had to stick to water, we ended up buying it by the case from a shell garage at 5 dollars for 24 bottles.

we flew home fri/sat from florida and the temperarure registered at our hotel - fairfield inn LBV was between 91 and 94 all 2 weeks.
The queues were really short, most of the staff said it was really quiet, the longest we had to wait was just under 10 mins. Didnt get to do rip ride rock it as it was broken and when it restarted it had a 1 and half hour queue.

For anyone on there way out to LBV and International drive area please avoid maingate taxi like the plaugue. They tell you one price before you get in, theres no meter, and when you get to your hotel you can at least double it.

We ended up using mears taxi as the hotel mentioned that they ran a lot of the disney buses and were all relaible, to be honest they were the cheapest.

Just handed in the memory cards from the 3 cameras we took, nearly 800 photos will be ready tomorrow......... cant remember taking that many lol

There's an apartment in there now - they built it for the Year of a Million Dreams and some very very lucky, lucky, lucky people "won" the chance to stay there overnight - can you imagine how amazing that would be? :A

  • My girlfriend and i are off to Orlando on the 5th of Nov for a week.

The past few times we have been we have stayed in the fairfield inn marriot village in LBV which we think is great and pertectly located. This time though id like to stay in the same area-ish but different hotel, can anyone recommend a really nice hotel in that area ? not wanting to spend over 500 for the week or point me in the way or a really good hotel website where i could find so really good deals?

(would love to stay in a Disney hotel but they seem very expensive) anyone know of any deals?????

Also we have done the parks many many times and just wanted to know if anyone knows of any other places worth visiting or seeing or doing or off the beaten track?

    Thanks guys!!!

We went in the year of dreams, we didn't win a castle suite stay but we did win extra hours in Epcot after it closed with rides operated just for a small group of us. They also had a party for the children and there were only about 6 kids there, my daughter danced with Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale and Donald - she was delighted.

    Yes, I can.
We were one of the lucky families to win an overnight stay in the castle last year :D
