I think that you can buy magic your way tickets on the Disney site.
Well at least I know they were last year.

Thanks. I'd like to buy from the Disney site, but the Disney UK site doesn't sell them (only sells Premium / Ultimate). I've tried accessing the Disney US site, however the site seems to 'know' that I'm from the UK and it immediately automatically redirects me into the UK site !

Unless I'm missing something, or there's a way round this.

    Thanks...

Tarquinius. It may be worth asking on the Dibb as I know that I managed to access that UUSA site last year but can't remember how I did it!!

    Hiya

    Try this:

    http://disney.go.com/index?intoverride=true

Or go to the bottom of the first page and select "Disney International" in small white writing and when the country selection comes up, choose USA.

    It's rather irritating

If you don't mind the metallic tasting water then the water fountains are great, otherwise you can buy bottled water much cheaper at WalMart/CVS/Walgreens/Publix/Target etc and take it with you to the parks.

If you want to take bottled water then freeze it the night before and line it in your back pack BUT there is no need to ever buy water at Disney as you ask for a cup of iced water and get it for free at any outlet that has a soda machine

A tip noted from another disney board is that you can apparently get these "sachets" of powder that are flavourings for water, and you can get mini ones tat are the right size for a small bottle. I have seen these powders before in the states but only ever bought the 2 litre ones - useful for the parks where the water isnt so nice.

Does anyone know where we could get these from in Florida, dothey sell them in publix or wallgreens does anyone know?

I will take the credit for that :) That "board" got the odea from our Disney Brit podcast segment on keeping cool.

The whole story for those of you that want to know is that you can buy powdered gatoraid in Walmart or anywhere really. Flavours are orange, lemon line, BLUE and fruit punch. You add these to 500 ml of water and bobs your uncle

as for water DO NOT BUY WATER IN TEH PARK EVER. just gfo anywhere there are serving soda fountain drinks and you can get a free cup of iced water. Add the sachets and woo hoo

We were at Typhoon Lagoon when we won our prize. We later found out that my daughter's boyfriend was the actual prize winner as he had been the first person to ride 'Humunga Kowabunga'after a certain time - I think it was something random like 12:17pm - felt sorry for the guy who had let him go in front of him as he lost out!
There was alot of form filling and disclaimers to sign but once that was all done we were given a lift back to our hotel on I-Drive, so that we could pack some overnight stuff.
We were then taken back to Magic Kingdom, and driven into a staff area, we were given strict instructions NOT to take any photos whilst we were here.
Another member of staff then took responsibility for us, she said that we would be guests of honour at Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner that evening followed bt VIP seating for the parade and fireworks.
Before dinner we were allowed to by-pass any queue on any ride.
When the fireworks had finished we were given a private tour of the park when everybody had gone, very strange being the only people in MK!
We had already been into the apartment in the castle to drop our stuff off, but when we returned to go to bed the place looked alot different. There was plenty to eat and drink, a carriage and horses made from white chocolate, chocolate dipped strawberries, fresh fruit, lots of other sweets and plenty of soft drinks.
The apartment itself (if I remember correctly) consisted of a main bedroom, a living area with another two beds (there were six of us) and bath room which housed a shower as well as a jacuzzi bath. To be honest it was smaller than I expected but all very nice.
In addition to the food and drinks there was a selection of DVD's as well as board games.
If we wanted anything during the night we were told to ring the concierge and they would try and provide it.
We were actually locked in overnight - presume they didn't want us wandering around the park by ourselves.
The next morning we had breakfast at Crystal Palace and that was the end of our treat.

This is MAGICAL what a great story
