I'll start you off with a couple of answers.
Height restriction chart:

Not sure about postcards these days, but you can send an e-mail for free when you come off Spaceship Earth (Epcot) containing the picture of yourself from the ride and there is a postbox in the UK (I think, but it MIGHT be Canada) part of Epcot, but not sure if it's in use.
A nice thing for kids at Epcot is the Passport Kit - about $13 I think. It has a passport, badge and a sheet of stickers. As you travel round the world showcase the staff will then stamp the passport at each country over the relevant sticker. Also most countries have free craft stuff going on for the kids e.g.mask making in Italy.0 -
We're looking to book for the school holidays in October 2011 however can't at the mo as the return flights are not available (beginning of November). We were however looking to book fly drives as we are DRI members so had accommodation sorted out but I notice now that Virgin only provide a "free" hire car for 7 days. Does anyone know of a tour operator that offers the car for 14?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

You will probably find it is cheaper to book your own car hire. I think Virgin have n yl offered 1 week free for a while and once you add in insurance it is quite pricey. With other car firms you can have more choice as to which car you choose.
If you do book your own don't forget to look at Quidco incase you can get any case back.January Grocery 11/3740 -

Check the final cost of the hire then shop around. 'Free' car hire can prove a costly option when all insurances, taxes etc. are added and many people choose not to take it. We use US Rentacar and find them pretty good.
Sorry Mumoftwo, must have been typing as you posted.0 -
Quick and rather urgent question
We're heading to Orlando on Sunday but are spending a few days in New York first so are leaving the UK on Wednesday.
I booked car hire through caronthedrive back in October, paid a deposit and everything seemed fine. However I checked last week as I thought they were going to contact me about the villa details and to take the final payment, and I haven't heard anything - they were meant to confirm no later than 28 days beforehand.
I emailed them on Thursday - they could, after all, be horrendously busy with the volcano problems and having to frantically re-arrange hire for people - but have heard nothing yet. I emailed again this morning to reiterate that we're leaving in two days' time and I'd quite like to confirm the booking before then.
I used this company after several people recommended them on here, so I wondered if anyone can shed any light on why I might not have heard anything, or what I should do? I'm withholding the final payment until they've got back to me and have informed them (well, Peter) of this.
All help gratefully received as it is a bit of a worry!!0 -
A couple of people on The Dibb are struggling to get replies and quotes from Car On The Drive at the moment. I would try giving them a call.
Tel No 407 610 3119 or Cell: 407 864 2290.
Worth the cost of a call if it puts your mind at rest.0 -
Thanks, jeanniebeanie
It's OK as Peter called me at 2:50 (i.e. first thing in the morning for him) and it's all OK. He said he's been run off his feet this weekend and hasn't had a chance to check emails at all, but our booking's still OK. He also said they're pretty booked up until August so perhaps they're struggling a bit with demand!!
Too popular, obviously! Thanks for the numbers - if Peter hadn't called I'd have called this evening from home. He's very helpful so it's worth calling if anyone else is in the same boat.

Hi,
are there currently any deals for Ticktes?
We are looking for 3 Orlanda Flex Tickets.
Also, can anyone advise on Daytickets for Disneyworld? We are over for 10 days, so we might only have time for Animal Kingdom, maybe one other park...
Thanks very much.
