Hi everyone,
I am going to florida in September and just looking at ticket prices etc, i have seen the Orlando Freedom Pass. I have been to florida before but only done the disney parks, i want to do Universal (Harry potter land) and disney as my partner has never been.
Is the freedom pass genuine, is it unlimited access to both parks for 14 days? I know when i went previously some of the passes expired after a certain amount of days so just want to be certain before i buy!

Probably best to research how much the tickets are to Disney and Universal for you both, add them together and see if its cheaper. Have a read of this website to see the access conditions and note it includes Seaworld and Busch Gardens as well.

Some of the travel agents sell the tickets as a bundle similar to the above and it used to be that it was cheaper buying them separately but really it all depends what parks you want to visit most and which ones you will only spend a day or two at. For instance a day ticket to Seaworld gives you a second day free and is usually cheapest buying online via the Seaworld website.0 -

Volcano aside, surely recent events have highlighted how you can be at risk of being isolated regarding any 'force majeure' if you travel with a non-EU registered airline?
Your call-your risk, but me? I would use any of my credit cards and think carefully about the airline.0 -

Last year we paid at a machine by the gate at Seaworld and got 'pay once come back all year' passes for the same price as a single day. Many people think this is only for Florida residents, but we input our UK details and had no problem at all-just a bit time consuming inputting all the info.
NOTE: If they are still doing it, it would be come back all year meaning until the end of 2010 and NOT 12 months.0 -
Floridatix.co.uk has been the best value for tickets I have seen so far. Even more so than Attraction Tickets Direct.0

Which is exactly why its a good idea to research and not necessarily buy tickets all from the same company. Floridatix have an offer on Disney tickets until 3rd June, 14 day Ultimate for the price of 7.

We have booked to go to Orlando in Jan 11 for the 1st time.
We have opted for a hire car but are now wondering what will happen with car seats.
My children will be 8 and 3. So will need a car seat and a booster seat. I don't particularly want to hire them from the hire company, but neither do I want to drive to Walmart without the kids in the correct seats.
I have read somewhere that you can take car seats onto the plane, how does that work?Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!0 -

The 8 year old won't need a seat, just lower the seatbelt.
As for getting car seats on planes most carriers will fly these at no cost and additional to your luggage allowance. Just take them to check in, get a bag (free) and hand them over. The Summer Holiday of a Lifetime0 -
thank you for that.
do you know if they take care of the seats? I don't want it getting bashed up in transit!!Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
