What are the height restrictions regarding car seats please? I have 2DDs 1.47m and 1.12m. We have car hire booked and I have no idea how much it would be to hire a booster.
Many thanks in advance.0 -

Hi there please excuse me for not reading all the thread but it is rather long.
We are travelling to Florida in October. Can someone please explain what an ESTA is to me and do we need them as I have become rather confused by it all.
Many thanks in advance.0 -
Here are details from the Dibb about ESTA. It is free.
It is a form you need to form in before you go , at least 72 hour before I believe but you should be able to fill it in now.
If you have been to Florida before it is the same as the green forms that you used to fill in on the plane-although I think that you may still fill those in on the plane too.

hi guys - i've been searching through this thread for ages now but havent managed to find an answer to my question, so here goes!
- does anyone know where you can enter Universal studios if your walking? I had a look on google maps and there is no obvious entrance from the over head maps.
I'm staying on Idrive and was hoping to get the Itrolly toa stop near Universal then walk the rest to save on taxi fares - any ideas if this is possible?
Many thanks0 -
Hi 123
We've never done it walking but heres the ITrolley website
http://www.iridetrolley.com/maps.asp
There are quite a few hotels within walking distance of Universal so I would assume there is a entrance for pedestrians.
HTHThe shinbone is a device for finding furniture in a dark room.:TBig thanks to all competition posters:T0 -
Thanks OnceUponADream - I'll check that site out
- I've see a few hotels websites say they are within 5 minutes walk but none seem to have where to go on their sites, suppose if I follow the cars in I'll be heading the right direction!0 -
From the i-trolley stop it took us almost 30 mins to get to the entrance, there's no pedestrian directions and we had to walk along some pretty busy roads with no shade. Maybe we were just being stupid but we heard lots of other people saying the same thing! A taxi from i-drive right to the doors isn't very much (i think it was about $6) and was just so much easier!
If someone can tell me there actually is a pedestrian way to get there I'd really appreciate knowing too!0 -
dont fancy a 30 minute walk before we even get to the park! - I'd read on a hotel review for a place just off idrive that they were 5/10 minute walk away but it didnt give directions unfortunately!
best info Ive found so far is to go towards the car park and keep left - which all sounds a bit vague! May be the taxi is the way to go initially until I get my bearings!0 -
Its not too long a walk compared to all the footsteps you'll be taking on the rest of your holiday. Heres a rough guide.
1. On I-Drive you walk past Wet n' Wild and carry on until you hit Universal Boulevard.
2. Hang the left and walk up over Interstate 4.
3. Cross over all the crossroads until you get to the overhead footbridge.
4. The footpath you are on leads to a car entrance and up into Citywalk.
It is about a half an hour walk, and as such I wouldn't recommend it with young children. My wife and I usually walk it there in the morning, and then get a cab back on the night. Was about $6 last time we did it in October. Works as a good wake up device.0
