    Hi

    Trying to plan our first dream trip to orlando for four of us,(2a &2C) but I feel as though going round in circles!!! Can anyone offer some advice for my queries;

Want a villa for 11 nights in lake berkely/ terra verde/ sunset lakes/ bella videa area.....want a specific villa (as want lake view and spa) and have had some really good private quotes from villa owners, but hubby worried about protection as dealing with someone personally and could fall through.....but have found lack of companies who let u choose a specific villa location and the price is alot more? Is there a way to protect you for private villa or is it just a matter of trust?

Flights - i had budgeted £2000 for 11 nights mid may ....but am being quoted £2236 by thomson and virgin, monarch are cheaper but obviously rubbish leg room and no seatback tvs.....should i wait till the 11 month window will there be more operators and prices come down?

Any help would be REALLY appreciated as I am driving my hubbie mad with talking about it!

  • Thanks Kefrif - . Its just my wife and I going (no kids), so was hoping to do something similar and walk there from Idrive, then get a taxi back!

    Thanks for the info

I was speaking to some contacts at Universal about the food situation and the crack down on taking it in. Like FH Brit we have annual passes and never been challanged BUT they did say to me they do not like it because its affecting their meal deal offer (all you can eat for 20 bucks adult 10 bucks a kid). I did say but what if they child etc or person has an allegy? They said thats fine.

So just tell a white lie if they ask. At least you will save some bucks.

I am sooooo excited. We are going to Floriday TOMORROW :j

We have never been to America before. I am rather scared about the flight (not a great flyer) but we are taking 2 DDs (grown up)with their partners, for OH 50th Birthday.

I am all but packed. We did the deal all seperately, (flights, found our own villa, car hire etc.) I only found out about ESTA's last night, so frantically did them this morning (immediately approved). As someone who is a terrible worrier, is there anything else I should have done?

We have park tickets and DD has american sat nav. have printed vouchers for car park, flights, car hire, villa directions

Once I know I have done everything, then I can get REALLY excited :j:j

    As long as you have:
    Tickets
    Passport
    done ESTA
    $$$
    Any essential medication
Any vouchers for villa/car/park tickets etc that you have pre-paid

    then you're good to go!

Anything else you've forgotten can be sorted/bought when you arrive :D

    Have a fantastic time!!
