Here's How ....... I had thought to ask for PM to avoid WDW seeing that the info has got out and "shutting" the route - but with second thoughts - how do I know thw PM'er don't work for WDW! ! ! Duh! - Silly me!
WDW Car Parking
Head for Magic Kingdom
As you approach the car park payment booths bear left (towards the Grand Floridian Hotel on World Drive).
When you approach the WDW Speedway on right, and the Hess (Petrol Station) on your left, use the Hess as a "roundabout (Car Care Drive & back onto World Drive (Duel Carridgeway).
As you re-join World Drive, go (almost) straight across onto a slip road that is still World Drive and it loops round to the left joining the traffic that has already passed through the payment booths.
From here you can join the WDW transportation to the other parks. The only down side is that you have to allow travel time to the other parks.
I am sure if too many people "find out" this information WDW would put up a barrier or something - so enjoy free parking.
Check this out on Google maps, it looks like you have to pass through the payment booths before the 'bear left' turn.
I presume this is an old tip and at some point the booths have been moved forward of the junction.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

Do i go for 1. the more expensive option and stay at a disney resort 2.stay in a villa or 3. stay at a cheaper hotel. I have also read that some book with Virgin and then stayed at a different Hotel as this was more cost effective. Any advice appeciated
Hi mollieflossie,
You could try Travel City Direct who are now operating under Virgin Holidays but use Virgin Flights etc, we are off to Orlando 27th May and cost per adult for Fly Drive is approx £700.00 each with an upgraded car (SUV) but we have booked a private Villa in Kissimmee with a pool etc for £470.00 per week. We like the extra room and convenience but the downside is you have to drive to the parks etc but we prefer to do this as it's nice to chill out after a long day in the parks in the heat.

I have booked my holiday using £2800 worth of Tesco vouchers with Virgin. We are going in October for 2 weeks and the cost is £4036 inc car hire for 3 adults and 1 child, so the actual cash cost for us is just over £1200, which we thought was good as we couldn't get to Florida for £1200 otherwise. Mind you, had I had my vouchers a month earlier than I actually did we would have got the holiday for £3800 which would have saved us even more:mad:
I think you need to weigh how much it would cost you by paying cash and seeing what deals you can get or how much cash it will cost you using your vouchers. For us using the vouchers is the only way we would ever be able to afford a holiday to Florida. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -

We showed the printout at customer services at the first park we went to (Seaworld) and the date was entered into their computer and the two weeks entry started from that day, you then have to do this at each park until you've been to DC, our DC day was at the start of our second week and then when you 'check in' at DC they give you plastic tags to wear around your neck that you can use at the entry stations of the other parks until the two weeks is up.
We also paid a bit extra for a parking pass that let us park for the two weeks at all the parks covered by the ultimate package for the equivalent of about 2 1/2 days parking fees.
Hi all, we are currently arranging our holiday for June next year - a big party going - 11 adults and 2 children. Villa and flights booked, but just trying to get an idea of everything else. Noticed a parking pass was mentioned in the above post - how much was this? and where do you get them from? Does anyone know if something similar is available for the Disney parks?
Also, some advice please.... my daughter will only be 15mths old when we go and although she will be too young to really understand, I do want to take her to the magic kingdom and also animal kingdom as I think she will get some enjoyment from them. My OH and I also enjoy rollercoasters etc, so will want to do Universal, IOA and Seaworld. We are thinking of booking a freedom pass so we have unlimited access to everything, but do you think it will be worth it knowing we are travelling with such a little'un? I really like the disney fireworks and parades, and was thinking this would give us the flexibility of just going in the evenings when it is cooler as often as we wanted, rather than just getting a 2 day base ticket for disney and a flexiticket? Any advice appreciated!
Many thanks!0 -

It was two years ago, so might have changed since then, but I had been on the 'phone to DC customer services and was told about the parking pass so booked it there & then, they added it onto my booking for the Ultimate Package and I printed the details off from our booking on their website to show at the parking toll booth, I think it was called a Platinum Parking Pass, from memory (which isn't quite what it used to be) I think it was about $35, and per day parking at the time was about $15.

Hi everyone, first post here.
I'm sure it's been covered a billion times on here but i've booked my holiday for 10 nights in sept, staying at the tiki liki villiage in kissimee.
Now just looking for park tickets! I want to go to most of the disney's, both universals, seaworld, busch gardens, maybe aquatica. So basically, everywhere.
Now i've seen this attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/attraction-ticket-prices/orlando-freedom-ticket.htm
which has everywhere I want but is not hopper, which on second thoughts *could* come in handy for fireworks and stuff.
Anyone know of anywhere of have any ideas for me? I was also looking at getting both an ultimate and flex plus for 14 days but just want opinions and the best prices really!
Any help would be appreciated. I'm so excited!0 -

Hi jackieblack,
Very interested in this as we will be going to the WDW Parks quite a few times, when you quote DC Customer services who exactly do you mean? I tried Googling it but no luck?
Thanks Raymondo1110 -
Can anyone get me a quote please, I've searched high and low but no chance.
I've got a budget of £1500 but it looks a bit and don't think I could make it to Orlando. 3 young adults, we need flight + hotels+admissions for this price.
Is there any place good we could go for £1500, places that have a lot of attractions?
Regards, will look back here late on.0 -
Could anyone please advise me?
We are flying out next Friday to stay in a private villa in Port Charlotte which is quite a few hours drive from Orlando. As we are taking 2 kids, aged 10 and 8 and the Parents in Law, mu husband and I want to take the girls down to Orlando for maybe 3 out of the 14 we are away.
Just wondering whether it is cheaper to book a hotel for the 3 nights in the UK, book when we arrive in the states or just drive down and see what we can get?
Does anyone have any ideas?I currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.

In regards to Orlando I'm afraid it's very unlikely you'll find all that for 3 people for £1500. Flights alone could end up that much.
Maybe you could advise where you're flying from as that might help people if they know of any good bargain flights? And when do you actually want to go? Off-peak from September would be a bit cheaper than the summer holidays.
Would say your best bet is probably Salou or somewhere like that as they have a couple of water parks and Port Aventura which is a Universal-owned theme park.0
