Please, let's not get into the whole car/no car debate again. Look through the thread and you will see that people have talked about having a great time with both options.

Although I personally would never travel without a car, this thread has really opened my eyes to how easily people manage without one.

Well said Nicky. Apart from anything some people don't drive, so it's not going to be even possible. To say that someone has a better time than someone else is purely subjective.

It is easy to get about without a car, depends where you want to go and what you want to do. On my honeymoon we did everything we wanted to without a car. Nice and easy. All you need to do is a little work before hand to find out how to get places.

Used a combination of buses, taxis and pre arranged tours. It was great.
On the list of things we wanted to do in Orlando there was not one thing we missed out on.

Bet my honeymoon was better than your holiday. :p

We are going to orlando for two weeks - there is now a 2 week 2 park bonus pass for universal studios and island of adventures

    they sell it at themeparkticketsdirect.com

Does anyone know if this is a good one to buy and if it is a legitmate company or should i wait until i get there as im trying to save money on the parks if I can and it would be nice to pop in and out of these parks

I would look at the prices, i usually get the 3 day 2 park pass and that is more than sufficient to do both parks, the reality is they take a day each.
I think that if the difference for a 2 week pass isn't that much then its worth it because IOA truly is one of the best theme parks on the planet. But i wouldn't pay a great deal more for the ability to go for 2 weeks when the reality is you won't need it.

If you will be going after the expected opening of Wizarding World of Harry Potter which is 'Spring' then I would go for the two week pass. Not because the new bit will huge, but because it will draw MASSIVE crowds and the two week ticket will give you the flexibility to pop out of the parks as they get too busy and back in when it's slightly quieter.

As for themeparkticketsdirect, I don't know them, but I can def recommend Attraction Tickets Direct - used them loads, so have friends and family ( I don't have any connection with them). They are selling that ticket for £82, but they price match.

Forgot to add, check out the NEW price of the 7 DAY pass on the Universal site- it's just been hiked to $169.99 (plus tax) -in anticipation of Harry Potter I guess. I would buy NOW!
