hi all. this is my first post in this section of the forum.

i am going to tampa during whit week with my sister and bro in law. we are spending 6 days in tampa and the last 4 days we want to go to orlando and visit any other must see sights within 100 miles of tampa.

what i am wondering is, whether they do bus trips from tampa to orlando for disney, and whether this would be cheaper inc passes than hiring a car for a few days. obviously we would be coming back to tampa in the evening.

can anyone assist me in this? it will be my first visit to the USA. thanks in advance.

Hi - i'm hoping to go to disney in June / July this year - I have seen an offer on their site that can give me 14days ultimate park tickets for the price of a 7day normal one - is this worth it? Thinking of flying over there and having a week in a villa and doing universal etc then going to a disney hotel on the 5th july to take advantage of the 'free dining' offer - am i doing the right thing or are there better ways to save money!
This will be a once in a life time thing, but am quite tight on budget so want to get as much as a bargain as possible?!!

  • Does anyone know of anywhere where we could possibly go and see a baseball game in Orlando in August? We're not hiring a car so travelling further afield isn't really an option - google isn't telling me much either!

Hi, we are booked to go in September and my son turns 3 the week before we go. Will I have to buy him a ticket for the parks? Is it only free for under 3s? Can I pretend he is 2? Will they ask for proof of age? Thanks for any help.

You must be mad to go to Orlando without a car.

    Talk about limiting yourself.

Found this. Not exactly what you were hoping for I know- seems to be kids. Think it maybe your best shot though.

Please, let's not get into the whole car/no car debate again. Look through the thread and you will see that people have talked about having a great time with both options.

Although I personally would never travel without a car, this thread has really opened my eyes to how easily people manage without one.

....But a better one with a car :D
