So its more then likely sounding like i should just accept the claim

Kev the PPI on your Loan which was only 5000 would be quite small so they probably are not that far out. If you want the money now and that would make a difference accept it. If you want to argue a couple of hundred and wait 18 months go to the FOS. You know your financial situation what would work best for you.

Well I have the acceptance form in front of me and the rejection letter as previously stated on page 6. Think am going to go with the rejection mail as I can also (I presume) go back to the original 600 offer?

Kev, I didn't say to reject the offer. I said to accept it IF they could state that they were putting you back into the position as if you never had the PPI and put this in writing to you. This way if you later find them to be incorrect you would be free to use the FOS if needs be.

This way you get your money now, they will no doubt check again (as mistakes can be made) and you will be free to go back if you find they are incorrect. Without the agreement figures no-one could really tell.

Are right my mistake, must of missed read, that acutally sounds more logical to be honest.

    So something like

I am willing to except the offer that you have sumbit but, can you state in a letter that this redress has put me back into the position as if I’d never had the PPI in the first place (and includes 8% statutory interest too). If in the future I find out this has not then I would be entitled to make a complaint to FOS.
