Well accepted Claim from both A&L and Egg.

I called A&L to advise them of the letter that was sent with the acceptance letter also. Doesn't sound like they are going to rethink the 600 they have offered so far, but was worth a go. I never no it may have a different amount when the cheque comes through, which may take a few weeks.

Lloyds however are still awaiting for the signed copy of the loan agreement, which so far has taken 4 weeks to get, yet when I asked i got it within 2 days, typical Lloyds. Bit concerned however as according to the paper work, there is no mention of PPI but am sure I took it.

I have since also sent a letter to halifax and Lloyds again around my PPI thats was attached to my credit cards.

AA are still doing there investigations and I still dont have any update from them.
LLoyds TSB LOAN - Currently Stage 1
LLoyds TSB CC - Currently Stage 1
A&L Loan - Offer sent- accepted- awaiting feeback
Capital One CC - Currently Refund £45.15 :p
Halifax CC - Currently Stage 1
AA Loan - Currently Stage 1

    Hi Kev

Just as long as your happy with the outcome then that is fair enough, if not you can always go to the FOS if you want to, as you know though it can take some time due to the volume of these complaints.

What a long wait, that is pathetic, and I suppose they had taken the £1 payment for this agreement request as well Kev?

Hope now your other claims go in your favour, keep us posted Kev, all the best with these.;)

    Hi all,
Im reclaiming from LTSB for a friend and she has just received a letter saying NO and that she had filled in a questionnaire and understood the PPI. Anyone else had this letter. She didn't understand the PPI at all. What next?

    Hi Shamrock,
When we had knockbacks from Lloyds TSB they did not send these questionaires then, but maybe now because they have so many of these complaints to deal with, they are following what other banks have been doing by sending these out.
It's best that your friend to complete to the best of her knowledge, if this was taken out over the last say 6 years and your friend cannot recall, ask them to refer to the details they should still hold on tha account.

This is probably one of their stalling tactics in my opinion.

So they are giving your friend a chance then to fill this form for them to consider perhaps?
If so she can ask them to refer to the letter she originally sent, they must or should comply by 8 weeks they are entitled to.

When the 8 weeks have passed, she can always move on to the FOS if she wants to. Good luck and there's a good one for helping her through this, tell her just to keep on at them.;)
