FOS letter popped in the post on Friday.

What are the basic response times?

Lloyds have basically said I ask for the PPI over the phone (Which I didnt) and was advised I could have cancelled it in 30 days and they do believe it was sold to me correctly and will not give me a refund.

The card was taken out in 2005/2006 will they keep track of the phone call and what are my chances of winning this?

    Hi Kev
Was this the letter to confirm acknowledgment?

The next time you hear should be when they have passed it on to an adjudicator, however they may try to resolve this before it even goes that far.
It may be some time, but as soon as its with the adjudicator, if straight forward your talking roughly 6-8 weeks, unless things become complexed or if the bank requests for more time, where in most cases they do, but the adjudicator will give them their own timescale.

So even though its difficult to provide a proper timescale, but call it anything from 8 weeks as from the adjudicator stage to maybe 14 months, hopefully yours will be resolved sooner rather than later, fingers crossed.

A standard response by Lloyds, don't worry the FOS will have figured this out by now, as they have many complaints about this bank.;)

    Hello guys,

Just a quick updated in total I received a total of around £4000 in winnings.

However I have one claim left that’s now been going on for 13 months!

Its now at the final stage with the FOS and has been for around 4 months.

Should I be hopeful or just give up now!

Di words of wisdom would be good about now J

    Hi Kev

Thanks for your pm and hope your well.:D;)

Right, for a start Noooooooo don't give up on this, you will get there I promise.:)

I would though keep in touch with the FOS now and again and ask for updates.
I understand they have large volumes to deal with and backlogs, but yours will soon be resolved.

Well done on your previous success as well.

    Please keep us posted.
