Is it worth me sending an email to the Cheif ombudsman aking for some kinda of update, 9 months I have been waiting for this to be pasted to the ombundsman

Yes there is no harm in doing so, or even give them a ring.

Latest up date is that its in its final stage and waiting for an ombundsman.
However its been like this for 7-9 months now.LLoyds TSB LOAN - Currently Stage 1
LLoyds TSB CC - Currently Stage 1
A&L Loan - Offer sent- accepted- awaiting feeback
Capital One CC - Currently Refund £45.15
Halifax CC - Currently Stage 1
AA Loan - Currently Stage 10 -
16 months on and still awaiting FOS to assign a ombudsman and Lloyds have told me on the phone case is on hold pending the court case decision.

Hi Kev, my last 2 Lloyds reclaims are still sitting with them, and have been since before xmas, but we are all hoping for some news maybe over Easter time, even though there may not be any decisions made on the JR, maybe we will hear of something, good news we hope anyway.
