T2D - that is great news, so happy for you. Take this time out to spend with DH and it will pass quick enough.

    Evening ladies,

Just dropping in to say that I have been officially given the all clear today! All cancer was removed with clear margins. :) Follow up in 6 weeks, then scans again in July, and then regular checks for years to come, but the recurrance rate is very low (4%) which is great.

The surgeon has said not to get pregnant for 6 months from the operation, which is great I think - I had thought they may say a year. So in 5 months or so we will get the little frozen embryos out, and still a chance to get pregnant this year!

What a stressful few months it has been!! But now time to get well, and I do think I have been lucky in getting such good treatment so quickly. Onwards and upwards!

I'm made up for you :)

Frozen cycles have got such good success rates - far better then leaving it to nature! I reckon a year that started so badly will end up being the exact opposite... x

Eek – why did no one tell me you can’t inject cetrotide with an autoinjector??? Menopur’s bad enough but at least I just press the button with that one, now I find out I have to properly inject my own stomach. I am not impressed!!

Had another scan this morning. They didn’t seem particularly impressed with my follicular progress but after a blood test I’ve got the go ahead to start stimms tonight and I’m staying on the same menopur dose so something must be happening in there.

    Good luck tea!

I can understand your not-impressed-ness... I'd be, well, this guy ->_pale_

I've registered our interest in fostering, for information to be sent to us, so we'll get that soon hopefully...

Onestep - would be interested in how you get on with adoption process, really hope it works for you and DH.

Tea - once you have done the first proper injection into your tummy it is fine and you get used to it quickly. Found the idea of it worse than actually doing it - good luck!

BZ - how exciting about the fostering, think it is a really lovely thing to do and can be so rewarding.

AFM - DH and I discussed matters at weekend and have booked blood test to check Amh levels next Tuesday as need to know what is happening as am at risk of early menopause. We also registered our interest in adoption and someone is going to call me to discuss and send me a brochure.

Primmer, fingers crossed for you too! We've filled in the first form (v basic info) & are waiting to hear back. We've decided to go with an agency rather than our LA I think. Just feels like the right thing to do. One thing I would say - I've scared myself by going onto the Adoption uk forum.. It's a very scary place, so don't go there!!
